Tyson Fury has always been afraid of Anthony Joshua.

Too bad, it would have been an interesting fight.

He's won everything. Has more money than he can spend.

And, physically, he's looked more and more awful in his last three fights.

He was arguably in the worst shape of his career last time out. Looked like Buster Mathis out there. If he couldn't get in shape for all that money and titles, he isn't going to get in better shape for less money and no belts. (He's won them all anyway.)

I've always thought he'll retire a bunch of times and end up fighting until well into his 40s. He still may.

Seems like a good time to retire or just get away.

Looks like Joshua may need a new dance partner. Maybe that's why they were showing him and Bakole facing off so much?

He is past his physical prime for many years, while Aj is still in his. Of course his fans want the fight

    The good news, money talks
Bad news, Fury still beats him

He should retire. He's unstable, he's been so his entire career. He wants to be a center of attention not a historic fighter. Fury should retire, and take Wilder with him. Joshua looks like he's going to after a couple more fights anyway so I don't need to really mention the need for him to, he sees the writing.

That's the difference between Usyk and nearly everyone else at HW. Usyk wants to be in the history books, everyone else is just a prize fighter.

Comeback fight by the end of 2025- early 2026. Christian Hammer or Bermane Stiverne.

Here we go again, folk believing anything Fury says.

If talking was the deciding factor in being a ATG, then Fury would be challenging Ali with regard the ATG title.

I never thought as a lifelong fan of boxing, that i ever would be bored with any current or ex world heavyweight champion, but i sure was and am regarding Fury.

Smart man, make the money and get out while you still have your wits about you.

Props to Fury if this is true.

    AJ fight is meaningless anyways.

If he must fight again, fight the lad that slapped AJ around that AJ won’t rematch.

Nah. Dont belive him. He was retired already at last 3 times (if I good remeber) soo this can change in few months...

If they pay him well he will fight with Joshua. If not that's mean he for real hate Joshua and dont want give him chance to stole his silver medal post Klitschko Era for best hw.

I belive he will comeback. Hope he change his decision like always quick.

I have mixed feelings. On one hand, I hope he's really retired so we can move on. The AJ-Wilder-Fury era is fading fast and needs to end. It's Usyk's division until he decides to quit, but he turns 38 this week, so he may only have another fight or two left. This next era will be interesting, because it's wide open. Dubois, Itauma, Kabayel, Bakole, Parker, Wardley, Huni, and maybe a rebuilt Anderson could create an interesting heavyweight scene for a while.

On the other hand, I wanted to see the AJ fight. Need to promote it like an old school wrestling "loser leaves town" match.

Fury has never been a body beautiful guy. He's just not.

Even before he was caught doing PEDs, he had the body of a middle-aged accountant.

In his last fight, he purposely came in heavier as he thought it would help him KO Usyk. It didn't.

He fought well in his last two fights. The best Fury we've seen in awhile.

He just wasn't quite good enough to beat Usyk. No worries there. Nobody else has been either.
