Did you watch the Joyce v Parker fight? Parker was ground down and exhausted by the end. Anyway, this is your second attempt at moving the goal posts... getting a bit repetitive now. For me, Joshua deserves criticism for his level of activity, but being steered away from big punchers doesn't really hold water as I said
I wish when a fighter "announces their retirement" there is a five year automatic ban on them competing in professional, amateur, or exhibition fights
Also if hope the BBBC, WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO and any I’ve missed out say “Thank you Mr Fury resignation accepted. Please close the door on the way out”. Also send him documentation saying what you’ve just said. Please wait 5 or whatever years to re-apply for professional status. Bet he’d keep his trap shut about retirement if this was the case.
That's why I love how The Ring and TBRB revoked Fury's championship status and removed him from their rankings after he "retired" in 2022.
Everytime Fury passes wind there is a frenzy of activity here and those who claim they don't care are usually the biggest contributors.
"You can't fool me, gypsy...!"--Borat. I would sooner trust an ad telling me about hot Milfs in my area than trust a single thing Fury says.
Lets be real though, with that resume he should have never been regarded as high as he was.. the fact he made 200 million + is credit to himself. AJ KO's him imo.
He will certainly have another couple of fights at some point when the money is right, his supposed 'goodbye' signals this very clearly. But now really would be a good time to go. He's declining just like any athlete does at his age but on top of that TF faces an additional problem of [for whatever reason] just being unwilling or unable to get into shape. The first signs of decline were in Wilder III back in 2021, then a couple of easy fights you couldn't read much into, then awful against Ngannou, and now twice against Usyk, that's four poor performances, he's washed.
Because he's the hero boxing deserved, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll wait for him. Because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchfull protector, a dark knight. Everyone is going to bust a nut when a 300 pound titan is dominating the sport and 400 pound fury comes back from the shadow to outpoint him on a slim decision victory at 40 years old.
Do you guys think Fury will be dropped from the rankings by The Ring, TBRB and the sanctioning bodies?
