We might see the best version of ''The Real Fighting Conman'' against Usyk as he's obviously terrified of him. Look at the shape his fear of Usyk has compelled him to whip himself into? He didn't do this for any of his fights against The Dosser who he jumped at the chance to fight x 3 in The Dosser's backyard but has been deathly afraid of facing the far more accomplished, decorated, higher rated and respected Usyk even once. Don't forget he told us long ago that he wanted absolutely nothing to do with ''foreigner'' Usyk in a million years even though six of his previous seven opponents had been ''foreigners'' Hammer, Wlad, Seferi, Pianeta, Schwarz, and Wallin. He even said he still wouldn't want anything to do with him even if Usyk beat the biggest star in British boxing and 2nd biggest in world boxing in AJ and annexed all three of his belts from him. This content is protected It's taken the ridicule and shaming of pretty much the entire boxing world, hemorrhaging most of his fanbase after all of the ones with a modicum of integrity jumped ship, all the money in Saudi, and having a rigged deck of his promoter seemingly being in bed with His Excellency to shame this giant chicken fraud out of coop to face someone half his size. The fact this ugly coward and utter disgrace even has a single fan left is perhaps his greatest ever achievement.
The comparison should be, how would Fury (version Wilder 2) compare against Fury vs Klitschko? Hang on,
Excuses about famly can only be used by the Fury fans. Sick baby, wife not talking to him, pops needed help getting his jalopy pushed back into the garage etc. These family issues have a much greater impact on Fury than the average man. Therefore he really hasn't been able to fight at his best. But if he didn't have family, he would be that fightinging man. LOL
Bigtime. Also factor in just how poor Fury could be and still win (3rd fight) or be robbed by an obviously corrupt card to end up drawing (1st fight)... Wilder 2 is one of the few times Fury came in decent shape despite knowing he could've come in worse condition and still won - one of the few times he didn't "fight to the level of his opponent"... But there's no saying he even needed to be at his absolute best to do that - or that he was anywhere near the level he was against Wlad. And in another sense... His style in Wilder 2 didn't suit his strengths as well as his style against Wlad. Coming in heavy, being more aggressive despite being naturally not a heavy puncher suggests that he wasn't his absolute best in Wilder 2. The answer to the question is Wlad by miles... But it crushes Wilder fans to have to admit just how badly their boy got dominated by a sup-optimal Fury.
he also looked like total **** the fight previous to Fury. He was completely unable to pull the trigger against Jacobs as well as against Fury and Joshua. Just doesn't suit Fury fans narrative, because it puts Fury's resume in the landfill.
Yeah, I think for that one, Fury's grand pappi had an infected ingrown toenail. So, Fury was just a wreck. I don't blame him for not going forward with the Ustinov fight, with all that on his mind.
And in the real world Fury should of been suspended for PEDS before the Klitschko fight since he popped dirty the previous fight.
Probably his schooling of Wlad, on the basis that the Chisora 2-Wlad Fury was extremely hard to hit and opponents had to worry about him switching stances (he boxed most of the Chisora 2 and Hammer fights as a southpaw). I think Chisora only landed a single punch of any consequence. Fury's combination of height, reach, footspeed, handspeed, reflexes, agility, stamina and versatile skillset was a kind of meta. The greater randomness of a boxing match with more punches landed probably makes the Wilder 2 version of Fury more beatable in general.
He was skinny fat in the Wlad fight and lacked explosiveness and power. I think Peter got his weight down too fast and Tyson usually underperformed when he came in the 240s. He looked way better the fights before against Chisora and Hammer when he weighed above 260.
