If Fury had made a big offer then that fight might of been accepted by Pulev. He wants a big payday or shot at a vacant title IMO.

Pulev also has a co-deal with Arum so the fight is easy to make. He is pursuing the IBF and has been offered a fight against Kownacki should the belt be stripped or vacated. With the IBF belt he will be in a much stronger position to negotiate with Fury, Wilder or Joshua. It makes business sense to pursue the IBF rather than take a fight you know you will almost certainly loose.

Which is why a big offer would of have had to been made to make that fight now. Do you think a serious offer designed to really tempt Pulev was made?

Pulev doesn't want the fight. The money will be more than he gets for Kownacki but much less than he would get if he beats Kownacki and gains the IBF. What make's you think he wants to cash out against Fury? He is on the verge of a world title shot. There are at least 3 or 4 winnable fights to be made with that belt including stadium sell outs in Bulgaria.

So with all the above do you think Fury made an offer they thought had any possibility of being accepted and if they knew it wouldn't be accepted then why did they bother making it?

I don't think it got to the money stage. It was probably suggested and dismissed before any money was talked about but as with all business deals there is room for negotiation. He certainly would be getting more than Schwarz including Bulgarian TV money.

If Team Pulev have said it was a joke as suggested on another thread then an offer was made.

sitting down on his punches? Why because he stopped the almighty Schwartz.

Match fit Fury? IS that the new excuse?

That thread is a spoof. The interview does not exist.

Yes it has been confirmed that they made an offer and It was good enough for them to meet Arum in Los Angeles but it was rejected due to them waiting for the outcome of Joshua v Ruiz. They are sitting on their IBF mandatory as I said before.

So lets hear how much was offered, We'll then be able to see how serious the offer was. See I don't have a horse in this race whereas you've clearly decided that Team Fury were completely earnest in looking to make this fight with their offer.

It's fairly obvious what happened and i'm tired of repeating myself. Please re read over my previous reply. Pulev ducked him and is waiting to pick up the IBF that is their long term goal and plan.

I don't think you can say he's ducked him until we know what the offer is. I'm tired of repeating that and you ignoring it because you've already decided on such a vehemently pro-Fury narrative.

I am not pro either fighter just using the available evidence to come to a rational conclusion. Anyone with even a basic grasp of business can see that waiting for the IBF is the most profitable route for Pulev.
