Guys it's going to be Kabayel.... ESPN & Top Rank. Has sparred Fury before. Big lump who likes to ring circle and keep distance. Won't be much of a fight. Doesn't speak English is no good though. He actually looks a little like Wallin lol. https://www.boxen.de/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Kabayel_Fury_Aksu-e1464092537950.jpg
The still fat face, who states he is not fighting until 2021 having now hitched up with new trainer Eddy Reynoso. If Ruiz was even in the shape he was for AJ vs Ruiz 1, i think he would put on better show against Fury, than some of the names being put up as next opponent for Fury.
Not sure why Otto Wallin makes the reasonable list... Because he went the distance with, cut, and maybe won a round off a fat and unprepared Fury that was looking past him the first time? I see no reason to expect a rematch not to be a clean shutout if not stoppage victory, so it doesn't strike me as really being any more reasonable than Kabayel or Browne. All sure things.
Ejagba would be fine enough. He looks the part and the record looks nice. The fight should be like Wilder lite, avoid the telegraphed shot and either wear him down or win a wide ud.
Agit? No. Four of Wilder's defenses came against the current world champ and the current #3. Two more came against WBC mandos. Agit is rated 15. If Fury isn't going to fight the #1 guy, he should fight the best available. That is Ortiz. He is ready to go.
He isn't rated by the WBC. Fury has to fight someone in the WBC ratings. Not sure how Kabayel slid in there. If this wasn't just a circle jerk, which it is, I'd actually like to see Fury fight Ortiz, who is the highest rated available. If he's going to fight a new name, since Dubois and Joyce are busy, I'd actually like to see him against Hrgovic. Hrgovic is undefeated. Ejagba would be fun, too. Please, no Kabayal. He is Jean Pierre Coopman, Tom McNeeley, Joe Roman bad.
If life has taught me one thing it's to expect maximum disappointment and nothing says disappointment like Charles Martin. Bring on the Prince!
