He's just trying to offset some of the excuses people will make when he beats Usyk.
Fan boys will say, "He was a middleweight, Fury should fight somebody his own size."

The article started out ok, but I couldn't take it seriously when he said fury knocks everyone out though.. just lol

Where has this myth come from that fury is some kind of ko artist now?
Funny old game boxing, isn't it! :cunaooooo:

Usyk has the same dimensions in height and reach as Ali.

Usky is not a natural heavyweight. His optimal weight class is cruiser. He’s faster and his punches have much more impact.

He’s not bigger than Tyson or Ali. They both carry extra weight better than Usyk. They have slightly wider frames. Same goes for Foreman.

Usyk is almost 36 though. Even if he was around 210 these days, he must have inevitably declined a bit in the five years since the Huck fight.

Good question. Even with SugarHill's focus on a more crisp punching technique which resulted in an increase in Fury's punching power, he is still not a KO artist by any stretch of the imagination. In the second Wilder fight, he was awarded a TKO. In the third Wilder fight, it took him eleven gruelling rounds to win and that wasn't a devastating one-punch KO either but an accumulation of punishment. Whyte's chin has long been suspect, his punch resistance has declined severely in the past few years so I wouldn't count Whyte eating that uppercut as evidence for Fury now having exceptional punching power. And a pushing-forty Chisora was stopped late by TKO - granted, it looked like Fury wasn't really trying his hardest, but even when he threw some genuine power shots in the early rounds, he couldn't knock Chisora down.

Fury still doesn't look like the type of puncher who puts people to sleep with a single shot. I'd argue that there are still several bigger punchers than him in the division - at the very least, Wilder, Joshua and Joyce are surely in that category.
