    On the scene.

Well I've got to be honest I'm surprised by this.

Classic case of look bad in your last fight - blame the trainer?

I know his Dad wanted him to leave him, question is who will he go with now on such short notice for the Wilder fight?

    Thoughts?

Fury made himself the fighter he is, Davidson was just a cheerleader.

It was brewing with their disconnection over the last months and John being spotted everywhere with Tyson. If they believe that Ben offers no value and / or they think Tyson is on his last legs, then why give Ben the 15% going forward, or however much he gets. Keeping it in the family and all that. I hope Ben has him in some sort of contract though.

Davison raised morale and cut the weight brilliantly but he's added nothing technically and if anything Fury isn't boxing as smart as under Peter.

I think it's a wise decision, influenced by his father Im sure but it's quite late in the day. If he doesn't hit off with the new trainer immediately he's getting sparked by Wilder.

He needs a wise experienced trainer who has been there and done it. It was clear he didn't respect Ben from a trainers perspective. Realistically, how much can you learn from a guy who's younger and less experienced than you?

Tyson is flighty too. Both of them said that when Ben could keep his routine he could keep control of him, but that control ended when Tyson went off on his sillyness.

Adds massive credence to the theory Fury’s legs are shot.

very much doubt I guy of his experience is getting anywhere near 15% of millions of pounds . I would guess he is on a set fee.

I don't know if its PC to say this but Tyson Fury without a big opponent scheduled is mentally fragile.

Is this official. I thought Ben was doing a good job in the corner. It was someone who cared about Tyson as well as gave some good advice in the corner.

I'm not sure who he will get in his corner now but I think wilder wins the rematch anyway. He can't get peter fury back due to travel problems to the USA.

I would think it will be someone unknown to me. Money being the deciding factor.

Am not on Twitter but the Express stated:

Davison confirmed the news by tweeting: “Obviously it’s not gonna stop until there’s an answer, Tyson and myself had to both make decisions for our careers, which resulted in our working relationship coming to an end, HOWEVER, we remain friends and he will SMASH the DOSSER!!”

I'm surprised he has got rid of Davidson at this stage. Might go with an American based coach. If he goes with a UK based ibe I would think Ingle souod ve most likely. Adam Booth wouod beva good fit but Joyce being with him might make it awkward.

He could go back to Roach who has the perfect set up if the fight is in L.A. I am sure the split was mutual although it puts big ? on Davidson's forehead. Regardless he is young and doesn't really have the experience at the top level but has plenty of time to mature into a top coach and he is a name now.
