Tyson Fury never said that. It’s actually infuriating that dramatic tossers like yourself deliberately misinterpret his words to suit your agenda.

You are easily one of the worst posters here.

    He did....

And was forced to apologise and withdraw what he said.

I would also like to know what agenda I have?

Oh that's right, i'm that 'Joshua fanboy' and 'Matchroom dick rider'.......
Who wants to see Fury beat Wilder, and Usyk beat Joshua.
Before either Fury or Usyk become undisputed in 2020.

    I'm the 'British Nationalist'.......
Who's favorite fighter is Errol Spence. With Usyk, Lomachenko, Fury and Joshua in my top 5.
Who also appreciates Andre Ward more than 90% of the American members of this board.

My only agenda on here is to offer my opinion, and actually listen to others, in order to learn more about a sport i've began to take an interest in over the past 10 years (I'm only 24, which I imagine is below the average age on here, so have limited knowledge).

I've learnt 2 things about yourself though, since being on here.......

    1 -
Every time someone hits you with a fact you struggle to handle, you come out with the 'You're just a nationalist'.....'you've got an agenda'.....'You're a *Insert boxer/promoter name here* fanboy'.

    You counter facts, with opinions.

    2 -
You're still unable to comprehend the irony of my username.

And although anyone on here is, purely by the definition of being on here, not a 'casual'......
Insulting 'Casual' fans sounds like something one would do when these 'Casuals' have a differing opinion.

“Nationalist”? What the ****ing hell are you talking about. Don’t think I’ve ever used that phrase in all my time here. You live in a fantasy world, you’ve lost your marbles.

Explain to me how he ruined Brook's career.

    Being British ruined Brook's career.

If he was American, Thurman couldn't have ran from him.

The entire HW division is like a bad episode of The Muppet Show.

Not all of us. I'm a yank, I know Wilder sucks balls, and I like what Hearn is trying to do for boxing here as well as in the UK.

I just don't understand the need for the UK bashing all the time.

When UK boxing was dead and there was no money, it was criticized by US fans.
Now it's booming and it's where all the money is, at least at HW, Hearn gets criticism despite turning the whole thing around.

When the boxing scene was dead in the UK and the prospects were forced to travel to America because of a lack of competition, the fighters were labelled 'Hypejobs'.......
Until Lewis became arguably the GOAT HW, he was another 'Brit Hypejob'....and then he was 'Canadian'.

The US bragged about Vegas being the 'Home of Boxing'......
Now Wembley is selling 80,000+ to 'Ordinary people' not just Celebs paying thousands for a ticket, a 'Fan' gets labelled negatively, a 'fanboy'.

The US had the best fighters.....
Then in the past few years the UK has held more World Titles than any other nation, and now 'Only the WBC counts'.....Ironically the only belt which is pretty much impossible to remove from the US.

    A boxing fan.....Is a fan.

I was told the other week that "If Wilder was British, you'd be a fanboy of his".

If Wilder was British i'd attend his fights, of course I would.
That doesn't make me a fan of his though...And if his opposition was no better (It would have to be for him to remain relevent), i'd be less likely to attend unless there was a good undercard.

There's too much external politics involved with boxing.

Errol Spence would still be my favorite fighter if he was Black/White, Brit/American, Gay/Straight etc etc.

Of course i'd prefer him to be British though....
It means I have greater access to him, and would be able to watch him live.

Would like to quickly add 1 point regarding Hearn/DAZN.

You can choose, at any time, to pay for any of his cards for just $9.99.....
You even get his two first US cards for free if you want.....

Now of course, Hearn is doing this to line his own pocket.
But it's also like 10% of a US PPV, and 50% of UK PPV.

I could list my current favorite 100 fighters....With just 1 belonging to Matchroom.

And you'd still focus on 1% of the post.

And apologies @CutThroatFade , that post earlier, bar the part about Fury's comments, were made towards this guy.

I already did if you bothered to read you duckroom hoe!

He sent him in the ring to fight a monstrous middleweight, one of the biggest p4p punchers and knew he didn't stand a chance. His best hope was making a fight out of it which he did at the cost of almost losing his eye had his trainer not thrown in the towel. Whilst Eddie would have been happy for him to continue

He needed two surgeries to have his bones knotted back together along with titanium inserted behind his eye sockets and now every time he fights he has the traumatic flashbacks of GGG doubling down on him and fear of losing his eye because the docs told him had he continued that's what would have happened you dummy! And all the ppv revenue in the world can't bring a man's sight back

Now tell me about those figures again!

"He sent him in the ring to fight a monstrous middleweight".

Hearn actually wanted him to vacate and step up to MW and start again.

    He gave him 3 options....

    1 - GGG
    2 - Spence
3 - Vacate and step up

Brook wanted the GGG payday to secure his Family's future.

He didn't earn enough at WW, as Thurman, Porter and at times Khan, all ducked him.

All I want from you is consistency.

You criticize Matchroom and call them 'Duckroom'.
Not you criticize Matchroom for taking fights they are sure to lose.

6 months prior is very important, you can't just ignore the fact Brook called out Golovkin long before the fight actually took place.

I remember at that time Brook was suppose to fight Khan, it was said to be almost done, it was apparently very close to being signed and then out of the blue Khan signed to fight Canelo.

Brook then started saying he wanted to fight Golovkin, nobody forced him to say that, he said he wanted the fight.

Was it madness? YES, absolutely, I thought he would be smashed to pieces, it would career suicide and so did most boxing fans but Brook said he wanted the fight.

What need to be remembered at all times is HEARN WORKS FOR BROOK, HEARN WORKS FOR HIS FIGHTERS. He advises and tries to guide but the bottom line is Hearn is employed by his fighters to promote them, they actually pay him.

So it was Brooks choice, For example, Hearn said multiple times he didn't want Brook to fight Spence Jr, Hearn said Brook struggled to make welterweight, Brook was dead at 147 and wanted him to move up..

Brook said he wasn't going to vacate and be accused of ducking Spence Jr and insisted on fighting Spence Jr and had his other eye socket smashed.

So although Hearn repeatedly said he didn't want Brook to take that fight Brook still went ahead and fought Spence Jr, Hearn just gave him what he asked for.

So when Hearn did display serious concern he was ignore by who? Brook, so who calls the shots? It's Brook, Brook decided what he wanted to do, Brook ignored Hearn's advice.

This Hearn bashing is now boardering on ridiculous, you can't blame Hearn for Golovkin, say he had a "duty of care" and then ignore the time when Hearn said Brook shouldn't fight Spence Jr at 147 and Brook went ahead and fought Spence Jr anyway.

Also like to add, Brook wasn't "talked in to it", the story goes that Hearn was talking to Brook about his fight Vargas, it was mentioned that CEJ wasn't going to fight Golovkin and Hearn said "it's a shame you can't fight him" because the money was so good and Brook said "I'll fight him, I said I wanted to fight him" and Brook got off the phone, spoke to his father and Ingle and so did Hearn and it was done.

What happened to his own fathers "duty of care"? What happened to his long time trainer, friend Ingles "duty of care"?

Or does all that just fall on Hearn?

It's like you're arguing with yourself man.

I know what you mean though....

Matchroom duck fighters - by fighting 'monstrous' opponents where they don't 'stand a chance'.
