wlad chasing his scared ass around the ring does not say much about him being scared. the guy fighting off his back foot for 12 rounds was the scared one.
had the "brave" haye come forward and fought like the man he proclaimed he was gonna do for 3 years we would be talking about how great a fight it could have been. instead he fought like a scared rabbit and embarrassed his fans and country.....and he took his show off and showed the world his pinky toe as an excuse. WARRIOR! :rofl

You lost money on Gaye didn't you ? Wlad was pressing the action and had Haye down, almost every time he landed a decent shot Gaye would flop to his knees. Wlad was not pushing Haye down, that was Haye going down on his own will to avoid shots from Wlad. Haye would been KO'd if not for those ridiculous antics..

I agree with you. I would like to see Fury win, but I can't see him withstanding Haye's best shots. I hope I'm wrong, but I think Haye will win early.

When people talk about Fury's previous fights they forget how young he is. Beating any version of Chisora at age 22/23 is a really good win. The guy is improving at a rapid pace apart from the Cunningham fight but he still won that fight by KO, it's a decent win. I also take into account the fact that Peter Fury wasn't present for that fight and clearly Peter is the brains behind how Fury fights. I'm convinced if Peter was present for the Cunningham fight we'd have seen Tyson fight a lot more intelligent than he did.

On the Haye fight I think it's a great fight. Haye is going to be very dangerous because id he catches Fury clean it may well be lights out. If Fury boxes to the best of his ability though this is a winnable fight.

I think Fury has more skills than people give him credit for. He's huge and gets sucked into brawls often but when he actually boxes he's got good boxing skills. I'm hoping that in this fight he can remain disciplined, acknowledge the danger of Haye and use his boxing skills. If he can do that he can definitely win this fight.

If he fights silly and gets dragged into a brawl the fight will most likely end with Fury on his arse. For me it's all about how disciplined Fury is in the fight, it's his fight to win I feel.

haye would have never taken this fight if he thought there was a decent chance of losing. his career is over if he loses this fight. his fervor for the sport is not strong enough that he would be okay working his way up from a ranking lower than that of tyson fury.

I know plenty about boxing and unlike you don't suffer from sugary nostalgia, insecurities, or suspicious agendas. Maybe you DKSAB.
Of course you picked among the biggest names in that era, which is not even what I posted - so you're a douche troll to begin with.

    But I'll counter the troll.
Haye could beat, even stop Ali, if he got to him early. Haye is just as fast and clearly the bigger puncher. I'll give Ali the stamina edge. Norton
Ken was chinny, Haye or Fury could beat him on any given night. Haye by KO, Fury by comfy UD.
Which Tyson, the myth or the one w/the so short prime? The young Tyson that lost to B Douglas? At best Douglas would be a fringe contender in this era. The "middle aged" MT that lost to a blown up CW :bart
I won't even mention seasoned MT getting beat like a rented mule by LL or losing to tub of goo McBride :yep

Old or young Foreman? Both had their pros and cons. Among the 4 you noted, GF might be favored over both Haye & Fury. Of course young GF lost to a fading Ali and J Young, while old GF lost to Morrison, Holy (won't even mention Briggs loss) :blood

NONE of the fighters you noted are anywhere as great or invincible - by today's standards - as you think they are. Whatever makes you feel good about yourself, but the era you long for is OVER :tong
