This Saturday at Wembley, Fury is fighting the Brazilian KO artist, 13W-0L-11KO, who stands 6'5" and weighs 230 pounds. No, he is not well known, and, yes, his opposition is weak, just like Fury's, he is a fast and dangerous power puncher who will give Fury a real test. A lot of people, including myself, thought McDermott beat Fury convincedly. I would not be surprised they change his current opponent as I heard the BBBC is currently looking at Nascimento's medical condition. I hope this fight goes thru as planned. It will be a dandy as long as it lasts!:good
I think he was going to fight the Brazillian before and it fell throuhg. Good for him. Winner advances in the scheme of things.
@Boxing Fanatic: What is the book in your avatar? Is this the front cover image: This content is protected
yes, that is the one. another poster mentioned it. Said the book is excellent. Kid Dynamite from No Mas
Watching Fury go Fight Club on himself is like watching an unstoppable force meet an immovable object - over and over again. Dude should run a circus show or a private channel where you can pay $5 to see him hit himself exclusively. I've seen quite a few record padders named Nascimento and the Brazilian of no notable wins and late replacement fits, but who knows, a good punch can change any fight, that is if he comes to land a punch.
Have you seen the guys that big Nas has been fighting? Fury's record is stellar by comparison. Nas has awful technique, terrible footwork & will not give Tyson a 'test'. He has power but I wouldn't say he's fast. The idea of 2 unbeaten prospects helps sell the fight but this is a mismatch, Nas has a slim punchers chance, nothing more.
I didnt say Fury is good technically & agree that he's hugely over-hyped. I asked if you had seen any of Marcelo's fights & the quality of his opponents. If you have & believe this will be a tough test for Fury then we disagree. Marcelo will turn up & get beat by a wide margin if his chin is ok, by KO if its not. :!:
