Love tyson fury funny and entertaining. But i agree with the above posts, he will get KO'd hard by a good puncher. thats HW boxing tho.

 

Im a Fury fan....The mans an entertainer he even said it himself.
The mans an uneducated comical star.
He may be the first boxer to burst into song after a fight.
I hope he does well cos underneath all the mouth theres a big kid in there whos just playing.

Also, would anybody be interested if it was Chisora v Ustinov this saturday...doubt it!..Furys the draw.

 

I've followed Fury since before the first McDermott fight and I'm a big fan. He's been in a lot of tough fights when he was a kid, literally, turning pro at 20 odd has meant he's had hard fights his whole career because he's been fighting fully developed men. The David Price comparison is perfect for me, Fury had to rematch McDermott after a hard 12 rounds and stopped him second time round, Price blitzed him in a round because of his huge physical advantage and learned nothing. Compare where they are now. Fury is still only 25, way off his peak.

He has always tried fighting challenging fighters. He was signed to fight Chageav a few years ago followed by Boystov but both backed out, obviously signed for Haye and Chrisora with both cancelling last minute.

The thing I like most about him is he is the polar opposite of Wladimir Klitchko, who IMO is currently stifling the division. Wlad has every advantage over all his opponents and still refuses to risk trying to be entertaining whatsoever, the Povetkin fight was an utter disgrace. Fury on the other hand is one of the tallest boxers about, with a shaky chin at times (I think it's more a concentration thing and his chin is OK), he should really box behind a jab and fight boring like Wlad, but he's an entertainer and happily engages men he should just outbox.

Looking forward to Saturday now more than for Chisora, especially after seeing the weigh in, Ustinov looks in great shape, by his standards anyway.

 

Also he said in an interview the other day he'll sing if he wins, let's hope he sticks to his word!

 

Fury will pick up a belt, watch.

People that want to moan about him are just being soft.

The HW division is dull at the minute, at least Fury is bringing some life to it. Also it's good to see a British fighter wanting to get in there and fight the best around, not look to pad a record.. likewise it's a shame that he's not getting the big fights for reason after reason.

 

Don't know weather you were been sarcastic or what but did you actually watch that fight?? If Haye had carried on like that in past era's he would have been ridiculed....to think there are still ppl out there who believe his hype

 

Yeah I saw the fight. My point was he still got in the ring with him, he didn't duck him and that most British fighters are willing to face the best even if it doesn't always work out.

 

Fury has alot of innate boxing talent.Beating Rogan out of the southpaw stance is beyond difficult.Many fighters have trouble switching to southpaw before switching back let alone boxing all 5 rounds before the stoppage.If he's in condition,boxes smart and follows instruction then that combined with his natural ability makes him a hell of a fighter.He also has an insane 85 inch reach,4 inches on Wlad which is pivotal in a jabbing contest.Another year and no fighter will out jab a switched on Fury.

 

Ha ha, refreshing to hear some sense after a lot of recactionary, school-boy tosh. This may be the 'fan-club' but it smacks of sense to me. I care not for fashion or 'personalities' in boxing or sports in general, Tyson Fury is quite obviously to me the biggest, strongest (bar Wlad) man in the HW div currently and has by far the most natural talented and well-rounded skill-set. I have thought so since his first fight on Channal 5 where he caught my eye.

Who will beat him? That is the question...I personally think he'll beat himself somehow at some point but he'll pick up a strap with an unbeaten record before then I believe. Will be very interesting to see if the money and fame of being #1 HW in the world will corrupt him (and his uncle) as has sadly happened so often in boxing history.....

 

Still laughing at the i was in bed the other night and wondering what would happen if i suddenly became blind...i'd still persuade peter to let me fight. I have no eyes and i m still fighting quote or something like that anyway.

I m going for the upset ustinov to beat fury. Fury's decent but far too sloppy at times. Ustinov a bit of a plodder but knows how to box and reckon them punches of his are harder than they look. Reckon he will stop fury. Hope not tho fury can be a clown but is unbelievably good value. One day we're all gonna forget about political correctness and end up all the better for it!

 

The funniest guy in British boxing, some of the stuff he comes out with his gold, ive always said he is underrated as a fighter, he's apparently so useless yet nobody has ever beaten him, the way some go on if he was that bad he'd never have won the British title let alone be near the top of the world scene. The guy will put his balls on the line every time, Chisora pulls out he could have fought a total bum yet he doesn't he fights a guy with a total different style to Chisora who's only lost once and is certainly a top 15 HW IMO. In fact i think this is a harder fight then Chisora, People never give the guy credit when he's clearly beaten some very credible names, Chisora, Johnson, Cunningham and if he wins Saturday Ustinov, i'd say in the current HW scene few fighters have a record as good. Underneath the talk and bravado i always think Fury is actually a nice kid, always seems to have time for the fans, his loyalty to Mick Hennessy when he could easily leave is nice to see in boxing a great trait for a man to have in his character. Let's be honest love him or hate him everyone wants to watch Fury, HW boxing wouldn't be half as interesting without him.
