Watched the first round. It was more of a farce than Mayweather-McGregor. "What did you expect??" I dunno . . . a boxing match?
Seferi was trying to land punches also but Fury was hard to hit. As you say they are similar situations except that one was accepted as a world title fight and the other a fighter who hadnt fought for years and with less fights. Molina had been stopped in a round previously. I really dont think there was much difference in those fights
No he wasn't. Don't be so naive. If Seferi wanted to connect, he would have gone to the body. Also watch what happens when that fight broke out in the crowd. Fury stopped fighting and stared out. Seferi just stood there, looking at Fury. If you don't realize that the whole fight was a setup, then you belong on a nice knitting forum.
Seferi went looking for head shots and has a high KO rate. Fury was too big for Seferi and with too big a reach for Seferi to get body shots in. Even you must know that. Tell me about this set up? Set up for Fury to win... Well done. Of course it was a showcase for Fury. That was the whole idea. Glad you got that
Seferi retired after barely being touched - no major combos and certainly no sustained punishment. Clearly Frank's verbal contract with the Albanians was no more than 4 rounds.
You don't see a difference between Wilder-Molina and a fight where: 1. Fury picks up his cooperative and laughing 5-foot-9 'opponent' at the weigh-in like a favorite nephew and carries him around before going to buy him cotton candy? 2. Fury kisses his opponent before the fight in the ring and the guy doesn't get upset about it? 3. They touch gloves five or six times ... basically every time one of them accidentally tries to throw an actual punch at the other? 4. The ref has to step in more than once and remind them that this is supposed to be a fight and implores the participants to please, pretty please, for goodness' sake, throw a punch at each other? 5. Fury holds a conversation with people in the ringside seats while his 'opponent' steps back and waits for him to finish talking rather than try to actually hit him while he's doing this? 6. Fury looks off into the crowd at a fight (the only one in the arena, because there certainly wasn't one in the ring) going on and Sefari STEPS BACK and also looks in the crowd rather than seizing the opportunity to, again, actually try to HIT the guy he's allegedly FIGHTING while the guy is distracted? 7. Seferi quit on his stool without ever being hurt, without ever going down, without ever getting hit hard, without ever throwing a proper punch? You really can't tell the difference between something that's not even enough to call a glorified sparring match and an actual fight? Then you really DKSAB.
LMAO. Say, my cousin is a Prince in Nigeria. He's trying to smuggle $10 million out of the country, and would gladly share it with anyone that helps him. Can we give him your bank account number?
lol. Guy still has a heap of weight to lose went through huge mental health issues and hasn't fought for 3 years... The fact he got back into the ring is all that was required... I would worry about anything else once he has a few more tune ups and see where his weight goes... Honestly the level of intelligence on here still surprises me sometimes.
Crazy How much talk this fight gets... It was a tune up... Fury was supposed to win, so the Wilder or AJ fight can happen at some point... The midget knew he was never going to beat the giant. The only one who believed in Seferi was some youtuber...
Shows how unpredictable Fury is when in the ring even with an opponent who was similar to another HW champs opponent on paper
