The only reason i can assume for this is they cant get any domestic heavies to fight tysonso they are looking for aesthetically pleasing records for tyson to knokout and keep the hype train going.

Anybody else remember that Brazilian that Rigondeaux fought in his second or third fight who had a record like 50 odd wins and several losses? Brazilians are great at three things: football, designing pubic hairstyles, and padding their fighters' records:deal.

yep, its an easy fight to promote. "Clash of the unbeaten Heavyweight prospects" and all that.

    Thanks for the info!

Good to see him stay active. The exposure will do him the world of good. Fury is very well known considering he has only 11 fights under his belt. Maybe punching himself in the face has helped that but you know what they say, there's no such thing as bad publicity! :D

Yeah, Jofre is about as great as you can get.

But this matchup is interesting enough, Fury us not infallible. If the Brazilian is in shape, can whack a bit, and Fury gasses again, who knows?

Not a foregone conclusion by any means, but then again I doubt this'll happen. I mean, Fury having a fight that won't even get shown over here?
