I'm starting to like the dude just a little bit. This mutha****a stays active and keep fighting regularly. McDermott was also a good step up in class for him. Some fighters would've taken a lot longer to take that step. When I saw the mutha****a cry after that fight, I was like man this **** means a lot to him. That was real emotion. I wouldn't call myself a fan yet but I like that he fights frequently and doesn't seem to be wasting time just padding up his record.

 

All right, pick on my poor boxing knowledge, cyber bullies. The point still remains, though- this dude isn't being put in the ring with Fury to test him and his record is in no way shape or form impressive when you scratch the surface with a Boxrec-emblazoned pick:bart.

 

It is a decent match up but the guy is a no name with a pretty record that upon inspection is a load of rubbish. I would much rather see Fury vs Sexton/Chisora winner. Those guys are ranked well too so they would get him elevated up the rankings.

True but this could be a good warm up for the Sexton/Chisora winner. As Tyson fights frequently it's acceptable I think.

 

Tyson Fury vs Martin Rogan would be a good warm up fight!!

 

Now that's something I'd like to see. I'm a fan of Rogan and I think he could do this. Tyson doesn't come in the best of condition and if he gases out, Rogan would not let that **** go. He'd make sure Fury pays for it.

 

Like you say Tyson doesn't come in fit to fight 12 rounds and Rogan wouldn't let up , trial by fire for Tyson is required.:yep

 

I saw that fight aswell but we have to remember it's Nascimento that Fury will be fighting and not Dias. Nascimento did take care of Dias in 1 round just like Perez did, although then again I would of fancied myself to take him out in 1(and for anyone who didn't see Perez vs Dias, I'm being serious about that).

When I say the thread title I thought 'hmmm.....could be an interesting fight.'
When I saw Brazilian I thought ':-( Fury ko 1', but this guy does have a win over Rafael Zumbano(and in his 1st fight) so he probably won't be as crap as you'd expect a Brazilian with an 11-0 padded record to be. Not saying he'll be great either, but I wouldn't be surprised if this guy came to win and took Fury some rounds before getting taken out.

 

A real step up in class for Fury.

 

And half of those opponents were on their debut as well!

Spose I'd like to see Tyson step up a bit. I like the dude but would like him to come in a bit fitter but I root for him.
