I hope it goes ahead and that Fury gives Whyte the beating of his life. Hearn and Whyte have done everything they can to sabotage this fight IMO and a last minute pull out from Whyte would not surprise me.
Little known fact And I don't want to tempt fate and jinx him But Tyson ''The Gypsy King'' Fury has never been dropped by a left hook, an uppercut, a jab or a body punch Every KD was from a right hand This content is protected
As one dimensional as Wilder was, Fury Wilder III was so much more exciting than I think anyone expected it to be. This fight on the other hand... probably won't be. But hey, it's a heavyweight title fight, so I feel obliged to watch.
This fight might turn out to be good. You never know what you will get with Fury. He walked over Wilder in the second fight only to go life and death in the third. Did that war take anything out of him? Will Fury's bad lifestyle catch up to him? Does he think he's some sort of power puncher now? Will he walk around flat footed and trade? Are his legs any good anymore or is he too fat to dance? I think Fury is the better fighter and he should be able to win, but his mind set is such a wild card. We might get a fun fight out of this.
I think this is optimistic. He has said any number of times that he does not think there is any money in Usyk, and Joshua ain't going to win. Let me be clear that I do NOT think Fury is afraid of anyone, he just doesn't see dollar signs in Usyk. My guess that Fury fight a novelty fight or two, like Ngannou, abandons the belt, and comes back in a couple of years when Usyk is gone and Joshua has rejuvenated.
Fury Vs usyk for the undisputed is a mega dollar fight. It will likely be the final fight they both have and it's easily a 80-100 million dollar fight. I've no doubt that Fury will look to fight one of them if he beats Whyte and then call it a day.
