The best run of any current HW!? It isn't even a winning run, it's two wins (one of which he was saved by ref) and a draw, which the majority feel he actually lost!! Amazing run!!

Tyson Fury was heraled as a "savior" of the HW division by a lot of people on this forum. They argued a glorious period has been started the night he defeated Klitschko.

What did we get after that?

    1. A ducked rematch with lots of lies and excuses. Goes into a 2 year eating binge.
    2. A fight vs. Wilder with the lowest punch output in years. Again, an instant rematch was promised.
    3. Rematch doesn't happen. He fights a bum no one has ever heard of.

Remember Fury said he is happy to send Wlad into retirement? He wanted to "save the HW division"? Instead he has ruined it.

I don’t think Fury liked what he got from Wilder. Judging aside he was put down twice with standard Wilder punches. Next time he might not be able to make the count.

He’s probably waiting for the titles to change hands. He doesn’t fancy either AJ or Wilder, so will hope someone else takes the titles off either in an upset and he can get an easier shot. If Miller causes a shock upset in June, I guarantee you Fury will start to pipe up again.

Undefeated records are a pain in the arse with boxing. Fury, Wilder and AJ have them and each are **** scared of losing them. Once you have one loss on your record, it’s easier to start taking risks.

If Fury had won OFFICIALLY, he would have been forced to give Wilder a rematch or vacate the belt.

It would have nothing to do with rectifying a draw which wouldn't make sense....how can he want to correct a draw if he won , you imbecile ? :taptap:

    Fury is not a champion.

Wilder resume is FILLED with Tom Schwartz's ,some even as Champion .

Who do you think won the Fury vs Wilder fight ?

If you say Fury then go collect his belt then you have a point, until then Furys just another top 5 guy waiting on Wilder to accept a rematch after Tom ,that's if Wilder gets past Breazeale ?

You guys are blaming a guy not the politics .

if you wanted the rematch , blame the judges and then blame team Wilder s insisting of a Barclays center rematch which stalled negotiations bc that wasn't the deal.

I was really hoping for either Fury or Wilder to win via KO/TKO so the loser would fade away. We got a bag of microwaved dog poop for a decision. Now both are back to belt milking.

    That's a decent rant.

Probably an 8 out of 10.

Now calm down and ask yourself the following question:

Would ESPN pay the guy $80m to fight 5 Schwarz level opponents?

Lol Fury not wanting the rematch cause he tasted Wilders power lol.

He would have got up qyicker if the ref counted quicker, honesty the stupidity of some on here.

Wilder won’t fight anyone on fair terms period..

He last two fight he was helped to not lose.

He was out unconscious so how on earth would he have got up quicker?

Fury confirmed himself that he doesn't even know how he made it back up on his feet. Yet his cultists write up another story.

Everyone thought he was donkey dead. Jack gave him over 20 seconds to recover, because like he said ''he cared for fury and was doing what was best for boxing'' rather than following the rules.

As fpr fair terms, 50/50 is not fair terms?

Lets cut the crap, the fact is Wilder is the only one who made strides to fighting the other two best heavyweights and made both Fury and AJ deliver the biggest ducks ever in the division.

If Wilder avoids AJ after fighting Breazelle, then he deserves criticism, but for now, he's the only one knocking on doors offering reasonable offers. 80 million, with no three fight tune up bs and 50/50 deals, you're not going to get any fairer.

The problem is both Fury and AJ know Wilder isn't looking for knockouts, he's looking for bodies.

This is what many fail to grasp.

The punches were a standard 1-2 without much whip or bad intentions behind it yet it still sent Fury back to Ireland.

Wilder would not have held back in the rematch,, the respect is gone. Fury knows he'd have gone in there with the intention of body bagging Fury within 5-6 rounds.

Bingo, if this was the first time, I would understand, but to do it again twice is unforgivable

Fury doesn't fight top guys unless he is the underdog and there is no pressure.

Once is he the favorite or there is any kind of pressure, he seeks a way out. He had no pressure in the Wladimar fight, because everyone expected him to lose and the same in the Wilder fight, he was the underdog with no expectations. He was getting credit for simply turning up.

In the rematch he would be expected to deliver a performance and win, since he is of the belief in public that he won. When really he knows he was inches a way from defeat and was terrified he suffered long term brain damage. He simply doesn't want to confront that reality, which is understandable to a degree but don't dress it up and pretend you're making a decision that benefits the sport by fighting complete tramps. That is both being a coward and a scamster.

And in the days of old, the coward would be executed

Funnily enough there are military laws against cowardice in the United States.

''Cowardice is the fear to exhibit necessary strength for meeting a challenging situation. It is the lack of courage to face danger, difficulty, opposition, or pain. Cowardice is a personal peculiarity considered as a negative attribute of one’s character. Under military law, cowardice acts such as desertion and surrendering to the enemy against orders are severely punishable.''

He'd never make it as a soldier during War and I personally wouldn't want him any where near me on the battlefield as a comrade. He's the one in the camp shooting his mouth off, stating how he's there to serve and protect and will take a bullet for anyone, yet the moment he steps out in the warzone and a gun fires off, he asks to be transferred to medical duties
