Fury is a typical parasite without education. Low IQ and non realistic confidence gave him humiliation. Typical gypsy. He fully deserves shame.
Very good video, watched all of it. If he cares about his legacy he should fight Usyk and rematch Ngannou. A fight against Joshua would still be massive over here but can't see that happening now unfortunately.
Been hearing whispers that he could be fighting Zhang in December. What are your thoughts on that as his next bout? Doubt it'll happen myself, but it'd be a hell of a fight to end the year on.
We'll find out how good his chin is because if it's not god tier he is getting chinned. Even if it's god tier Zhang will break things in your face...or maybe he has a thick skull like valuev.
Pretty much my thoughts. If his chin is as good as I'm hearing, this could end up playing out the way folks thought the first fight with Joyce would. If it isn't though, given his own minimal head movement, it could very easily end up going the way the second fight did. Only thing I know for sure right now is, if the fight does get made it means that a 40 year old man was one of the more active heavyweights this year, and an MMA fighter took the biggest challenges. Not exactly a good look for the rest of the division
Division is in a transitionary period. Usyk & Fury are done with top flight boxing. Wilder & AJ are the hyenas looking for a cheap opportunity to get a belt or a monster payday, neither of which are coming to fruition for them. The legit contendors have to bide their time. A lot will change in the next 2 years.
Fury was never that good. His win against Klitschko wasn't impressive, and as far as I'm concerned, it was a draw. He fought the likes of Chisora, Whyte etc. They weren't serious opponents in my opinion. 40 year old Povetkin had knocked out Whyte cold. The only legitimate success he had was against Wilder. "His worst enemy is himself" is just a saying used for masking his inferiority. He ducked Klitschko twice for the rematch and he ducked Usyk. Because he knows he's not that good. He's frequently knocked down. A real champion doesn't have such a nasty habit of kissing the ground so often.
You do realize Usyk Fury was the fastest made undisputed HW fight in history? Fury ain't ducking but keep grasping. It would have been made faster if they didn't have to wait 12 months for the money men to come through.
Did Fury perform that badly in his last fight? Or Francis Ngannou has shown more in the ring than Dillian White and Derek Chisora (Fury's 2 previous opponents) combined?
Francis showed better inside ability and chin and stamina than both of them men. He showed more composure. He didn't throw any wild punches excluding the superman punch. Francis ain't a joke, he fought like a veteran and clearly his combat history helped to no ends. The only thing Francis didn't have was utter confidence in his stamina which allowed Fury to drag the pace down to a sub zero level, oddly to Fury's benefit not Francis's. More experience is all Francis needs. easily one of the best boxing debuts ever. It's like amateur boxers with insane pedigree you know will do well as pro's like Lomachenko.
Hopefully for the better, though I'm not terribly optimistic about some of the guys coming up. Jalolov looks good but doesn't seem to be super committed to the pro scene. Anderson and Torrez are decent but I'm sensing a AJ-Ruiz moment for both if they don't work on their defense and gas tank management respectively, and hopefully they don't come back mentally shaken like AJ did. Clarke and Fisher are Matchroom hype jobs who haven't impressed. Huni is good but seems to lack big power, which is essential at heavyweight. Wardley seems alright but has a very shaky chin from what I've seen. But I'm not super well versed on all the prospects so I'm sure that there's some guy looking impressive that I'm overlooking, or I'm hoping so anyways. But hey, if they fight each other a bit more than this batch did, none of that will matter as much. Here's hoping anyways
Fury vs Usyk hasn't happened yet, and I am 100% sure Fury will find an excuse not to fight Usyk. He has already started saying things to the media like "We know Usyk has dirty secrets and we will expose him" etc. Because his precious WBC belt helps him make millions of pounds every fight, he doesn't want to lose it. He will probably fight his good old buddy Joseph Parker.
Fury vacated the ring magazine belt just so he could win it back off Usyk and become a 2x alongside Ali...
Great boxing channel with balanced views I follow it already on the tube and have done since before I joined this forum.
Problem with Fury is you never know what version you will get. I always hope to see motivated prime Fury but I often go Home disapointed…
