it really stink all this doesn't it you could tell by the look on fury, wilder and warrens faces after the pianeta fight we were being conned and they were just doing it to grab headlines hearn must be laughing his arse off
Until that first bell rings, and the first punch is thrown, i'm not sure either of the two are exactly 'reliable' when it comes to ensuring what they say will happen, happens. Not long ago Team Parker travelled to the States and did something similar, but less public, with Wilder's team. I still recall Jay Deas telling Parker after Wilder won his fight "You've just gotta take care of your business now". Then Fury decided to go on an historic, never seen before in our sport, 'Coke and Nandos' binge.....Resulting in no Klitschko rematch. It feels as if both guys are waiting for the other to pull out first.
Fury says he's signed the contract and sent it back to Wilder. Hopefully this is true and if so ball is in Wilder's court, someone please help him find a pen this time. https://www.boxingnews24.com/2018/08/tyson-fury-says-hes-signed-contract-for-deontay-wilder-fight/
For now he has a reason for the silence, that is that he's on break after continuous camps and Warren claimed it would take a few weeks to sort out the last details. After that suspicion would make more sense. Maybe Fury does pull out, can't predict him, but it is a fact he's been keen to fight Wilder for quite a while, they apparently tried to get him as replacement for Haye, and Fury did take the Klitschko fight after a pretty long break and poor preparation before that final camp > Chisora and Hammer are absolutely NOTHING like Vlad. So he's not a guy that needs perfect prep to do this. Also, Fury probably does want another tune up, but he also knows that if Wilder fights Joshua in April, there will be a rematch, which means he is blocked out of the belts until the end of next year at least and it could go over into 2020 if a deal can't be made. He could have committed suicide by then, after going to a British thought crime prison for tweeting that Israel was the original land of the gypsies, who are 'the same as the jews'. The other clue is that if Warren and Finkel aren't enemies, Finkel wouldn't have gone over with Wilder just to pull out and screw over Warren/Fury and it's unlikely Warren would want to mess with Finkel if he's an ally against Hearn. Now you could argue both teams would conspire to screw over Hearn/Joshua, but I don't think Wilder would go for that at all at this stage.
Joshua did agree to the fight in principal. Then winkle and co wanted Hearn to announce it was official without seeing any paperwork or conditions. Old smokescreen shirley
