    I can't see this being the case, they're only just starting to build him up as a bit of a face, beyond the silly name and the fact that he's a traveller.

    Even though I think he'd box Povetkin's head off. He's absolute cack these days.

    My point was the discussion was not about Hayes overall legacy, therefore it was rather irrelevant, we can only compare Fury and Haye on HW legacy as Fury is never going to fight anywhere else is he.

    The point made in the original post was that Fury could surpass Hayes HW resume in two or three fights, but you decided to remind everyone of Haye's CW legacy.

    What's Fury meant to do here, chop off his left arm and go for a CW Title as well?

    A win over Povetkin and one defense will set him apart from Haye IMO, as Fury will have achieved as much at HW as Haye did, and he'll have just done it around 8 years earlier in his career.

    Fury needs a few more tough fights against better opposition then he's been facing before he is ready for Povetkin.

    Fury should fight Hasim Rahman in an eliminator at Madison Square Garden sometime early next year after he gets past Pajkic, a good win over someone like Rahman (unbeaten with 5 straight K.O's after being beat by Wladimir Klitschko) who is well known in America, that would be a great fight for Fury's American debut and would be a telling factor in how Fury will do on the world stage.
