Tyson Fury “The clean cut look doesn’t suit me. I shave with an electric razor and always leave a bit of stubble!” Tyson Fury has speedily climbed the ranks of professional boxing to claim the title of English Heavyweight Champion, at the tender age of 22. With his raw talent and passion combined with his knock out punch Tyson is fast becoming a household name. After his debut fight was aired on ITV, Fury has gone on to win all 14 of his fights, 10 of which by knock out. The road ahead is an exciting one for Tyson and his fans as he trains and prepares for several high-profile British, Commonwealth and European titles. Here at The Grooming Guide we think that this hard hitting heavyweight may be one of the biggest boxing stars that the UK has ever seen. Watch this space! Many men are paying more attention to their appearance. Would you say you have a daily grooming routine? I have a simple daily grooming routine. As I have very sensitive skin I am allergic to soap, so I wash my face with hot and then cold water, then jump in the shower and whack some wax through my hair. How would you prepare for a fight and how would you unwind afterward? A few days prior to a big fight I will have some back massages and visit the sun bed. I will also have a traditional Turkish haircut and shave- with a hot towel, head massage and hot shave. This experience is really relaxing and it has become quite a ritual for me. After a fight a full body massage helps me to relax. What products do you use on your skin? For Christmas I got some LAB Series products and I’ve always steered clear of putting anything on my face due to fear of a reaction, but the daily moisturiser is great. What is your favourite fragrance? At the moment I love One Million for Men by Paco Rabanne. Another firm favourite is Christian Dior’s Farenheit. What products do you use on your hair? I’m not too fussed about hair products- to be honest I use whatever the wife has in the bathroom. For styling though I like a good strong gel or wax- go Brylcreem takes some beating. As a boxer how do you do you take care of your hands? Yes this is really important. I make sure I use the best in bandages, moisturise them every day and also have hand massages regularly. Recently was given the Lab Series hand cream which I really like. Are there any other guys in the public eye that you feel are well groomed? David Beckham always looks really well groomed and Brad Pitt in his Ocean’s Eleven days. What does being well groomed mean to you? Being well groomed to me means looking presentable. I think when you look good you feel good and it feels refreshing to be groomed. Having said that the clean cut look doesn’t suit me!- I shave with an electric razor and always leave a bit of stubble. (no homo) Good to see Fat Mick promoting him so well
I can't wait to see an old scouse bird making him some outrageously massive shorts for his next fight with flashing lights on them.
