Let’s say on his best day in that era, who would his biggest scalps be?

I`d say he`d beat any heavy from the 90`s, most heavies just relied on athleticism back then, Holy`s counter punching ability might be too much for Fury though, he`s never faced counter combo`s like that, Lewis v Fury would be a messy spoiling fight with loads of holding from both long armed jabber`s, the rest would be easier.

Let’s see him face his first top ten contender before making judgements.

He just arguably beat Wilder & beat “The Man” in Wlad.

    What more do you want?

We have no idea how he’d fare against contenders, because he hasn’t fought one yet.

Got found by Wilder—>Gets found by Ruddock “smash”

Beat aging, robotic Wlad—>Beats aging, robotic Foreman

    Beat Chisora—>beats Francois Botha

lol! Wlad as way faster than the older version of Foreman and Wilder`s punches were a constant threat Ruddock just threw the occasional smash, he never faced anyone with Fury`s ability to slip shots, Fury was out of Ruddock`s depth.

How about Lewis? Bowe? Holy? Ike? Morisson?

Hard to say due to his complete avoidance of contenders.

Other than that Lewis gets to him more easily than Wilder.

I´d give him a good shot at beating Holyfield. Lewis and Bowe could match him in size and fought way more aggressive (and open) than Wlad.
I stay by what I said: Wlads problem was his head, he had to open up against Fury and let his power go. Therefore I think Bowe and Lewis wont find much power making them fight cautious, which is bad news for the Gipsy King.
