always entertaining to listen to aint he!.

"No chance of Dereck Chisora giving up the British title then?

It’s pointless Chisora keeping the British title; he’s got a world title shot and he’s confident he’ll win it so why hold on to the British belt? I’ve got nothing against Dereck, we’re all fighters and we’re all doing the best we can to earn a living and entertain the public. In fact I hope he does really well against Wladimir Klitschko and I think he’s got a good chance as well. From what the fellas told me in the camp, the Klitschkos like to fight guys they’ve already beaten up in sparring previously. Hasim Rahman, Kevin Johnson, Tony Thompson; all these guys had sparred with the Klitschkos before they fought them for real. But with Chisora they know nothing about him, that’s why Wladimir is a bit on edge about this fight.

Having been in the Klitschkos’ camp and seen them up close and personal, what do you make of them?

Well Wladimir was a bit arrogant when I first got there, but when I got to know him a bit better and he got to know me, he came round. By the end I even went out with them for a meal. It was a good experience and it showed me what it takes to be a champion. I have the utmost respect for them, they’ve cleaned up the division and there’s no one left for them to fight really. All that’s left is the young kids coming up and I doubt they’ll ever fight me because I’m too much of a risk. You saw against Nascimento that I can turn them over whenever I catch them, and Wladimir hasn’t got the best chin in the world has he? If I landed one of those shots on him he’d be gone for a month.

David Haye seems to have his heart set on fighting Wladimir, is he the easy draw out of the brothers?

Well Vitali Klitschko is tougher but he’ hasn’t got as much coordination and takes a while to get his hands going. They’ve both got good footwork but even though Wladimir has the weaker chin, he’s a better boxer. He’s more fluent and was an Olympic gold medalist so I think he’s the better one out of the two of them. With regards to David Haye, I don’t think he wants to fight either of them to be honest. He
couldn’t live with them; they’re just too big for him."
