You're implying Fury pulled out JUST because Ustinov was his own size?

    That's even worse.

Why would Fury be willing to get in the ring with Haye and Chisora for that matter yet fear Ustinov?Ustinov was getting beaten up in sparring by Chisora as he is much too slow to react to punches.Chisora's trainer Don Charles predicted Fury would beat Ustinov in 6 rounds. What does that tell you.

Fury's 19 year old cousin Hughie Fury would beat Ustinov that much i'm certain.IN fact they have a common opponent in Ivica Pertovic.Ustinov with his vaunted power went the distance over six rounds as opposed to Hughie who was 18 at the time stopping him after the 5th.Ivica told Hughie afterwood that he was the best he's been in with. What does that tell you?

I only come here from time to time these days mainly because of pathetic trolls like this guy. I love how all these people sitting on their fat asses who've more than likely never been in a fight in their pathetic lives rip on real fights. Have fun living in your moms Basement forever loser!

In general I enjoy British boxing, but when it comes to their current HWs, what a disaster. Bunch of flakey manchildren making idle threats

Hughie may be ill, but as others have said, it's hard to imagine the fact that Ustinov showed up looking like more of a threat than Chisora didn't play a role in Fury's withdrawal... Also think about the ticket returns after Chisora pulled out. Fury probably thought "I'm not getting my ass kicked for free".

    Talk is cheap.

I'd like to see the wanker in the ring with someone his own size.

Bullies are always cowards. They pick on little guys and are afraid to fight someone their own size.

Pretty obvious that fury bottled it.

He complained that Ustinov was actually in shape and had an 8 week training camp, sai tht he was being set up. What will he say if he's presented with wlad after a 12 week training camp. News flash fury, fighters are SUPPOSED to train. Fury shat himself and pulled out.

If his uncle's illness is an issue, how is it that they say they can announce a new date for Fury-Chisora next week? Are they expecting a miracle cure? He and his camp, if he was unable to be ready to fight over this, should be in no mental shape to make business decisions on when his next fight might be at this point.

If the British board isn't provided with medical proof that the uncle suffered some major downturn in his condition in the final 12 hours before the fight, Tyson should be suspended for a year. If the uncle was already ill, and he was apparently willing to fight Chisora or take Ustinov as a substitute (until he shatted his pants when he saw U at the weigh-in) and there wasn't a MAJOR, IMMEDIATE and mortal change in the uncle's condition after the weigh-in, his license needs to be pulled.

Not only is that in the best interest of boxing, in the best interest of the ticket-buying public, it's also in the best interest of Fury and his team. A year would give them ample opportunity to get over this tragic circumstance and ready themselves to return to professional boxing.

As for the bunk being spread that it was Peter Fury who pulled him out of the fight, Peter's name isn't the one on the bottom line of the contract. He has no legal standing to say a fighter, even one he trains, cannot fight. He's just trying to take the heat for Tyson. But to be sure, I'd suspend the drug-running trainer for a year as well.

Irrelevant considering Cunningham has no power at cruiser weight and had fury on ***** Street. Fury is awful, his footwork is potentially the worst I've ever seen from a supposed top level boxer.
