Tyson Fury has just sent a warning to Wilder, saying he is breathing and sleeping thinking of him. He's already back in the gym. Do you think the rematch happens? Who do you think wins? I say Fury by a very wide decision.
I'm worried Wilder's team are going to be offered good money by Hearn, money that they will advice Wilder to accept.
I think the decision going against him and the public support has motivated Fury and given him a solid mindset going forward. He’ll look and be better in the rematch if it goes ahead I’m sure of it.
So what? Everyone knows Fury beat Wilder and has a claim to the lineal championship and Joshua's other belts so should Joshua KO Wilder all it does is remove him from the championship picture. Fury vs Joshua would be for the undisputed title right now as far as I'm concerned.
That's a great point I've wondered about. Would they, though? They have an interest in making US ppv work. Maybe they figure they have a shot at substantially increasing their money in PII, and not only make as much money as they would from AJ, but also helping their preferred platform. And that even if he loses to Fury, there would still be enough interest that he could still get the AJ fight as long as he accepted mandatory level money. I'm inclined to think they have more interest in making Wilder Fury II, but wouldn't be shocked if they go AJ instead.
Of course. They need to have the re-match to prove who the better fighter is and it’s in both Wilder and Fury’s best interest to have the re-match as soon as possible while the public has both guys on their mind. Wilder going on to fight Joshua at this moment would be a waste while he has unfinished business with Fury. I have no doubt that Fury is definitely going to come in tip top shape in the re-match, but Wilder will also most likely listen to his corner this time and not force his shots, so I see the re-match surpassing the first fight.
The second fight will be a shut out in favor of Fury. Wilder isnt winning one round unless its a knockdown.
$15,000,000 was very good money. It might be upped to close to $20m this time around and Wilder could genuinely beat Joshua too because he doesnt gas as bad as AJ and is more athletic.
I'm thinking Wilder's team could be thinking their fighter would have more chance beating Joshua than Fury. They could say that after you beat Joshua you could fight Fury with all the titles.
Wilder was completely gassed against fury and was barely even throwing. The only times AJ gassed were when he was throwing almost 100 punches a round.
Fury is back in the gym putting in work. Wilder is currently on Instagram and interviews complaining about the count, the referee, the commentators, the broken arm, all of the distractions out of the ring. Read into that what you will...
