Tyson Fury is being set up to lose this doesn't seem right

John makes an initial half hearted attempt to blame the promoters, specifically Bob Arum, only to back down partially and give Tyson some agency. He’s always been his biggest advocate so his apprehensiveness does mean something for me

Fury is just being Fury, this is who he is. He'll be a big favorite in this fight and he knows that, and he's playing the role. He can certainly lose, but I'll be surprised all these antics notwithstanding.

 

Wilder is determined for Revenge whereas Fury has been riding high on the adulation of his last performance for a year and a half now, he is very overconfident now and it will take a slight mistake, lapse in concentration against Wilder to change everything in the division.

Bit early for casting off comments as excuses and from wilder fans pot kettle black and that, fury is a bit of a master at the smoke and mirrors act. Wouldn't read to much into this. If Wilder still has the same level of inside game then not much changes in the trilogy. But anyone carrying that much bang has a punching chance, so not impossible just unlikely.

Think it would be much better for boxing if Fury wins and the weight is allowed to move forward

 

on paper, this should be a fairly easy win for Tyson. if i was a gambling man, thats where my money would go . . .

I think people are really underestimating the very REAL chance that that big right hand can come out of no-where and completely end Fury

and IF that happens, Im not super interesting in hearing peoples BS about it

Tyson cant underestimate this dude. Wilder has nothing to loose. If Tyson gets caught and KTFO then he deserves to have to carry that black eye on his career forever.

 

If by "being set up to lose," you mean that he is "refusing to train," then yes, he is being set up.

 

Both Fury and Wilder seem to have gotten in better condition in just the last few weeks.

It makes me think both were taking some time. Probably a good thing for Wilder since he's older, coming off a KO, has been active for a long time, and doesn't have a high level trainer anyway. If Fury has begun taking things seriously by now I think he'll be fine too.

 

Tyson Fury, John Fury, Bob Arum, Fury fans, Joshua fans, Eddie Hearn ... everyone talked **** about Deontay Wilder for more than a year ... Bum Squad. Wilder will be back to fighting Bums. Wilder only fought Bums. Wilder doesn't want anymore.

Everybody got mouthy because nobody thought Wilder would ever get another chance at Fury or Joshua or any big names.

Now Wilder is fighting Fury for the title again... and everyone's going "I think Wilder might win this if Fury doesn't get serious" (LOL)

If you fight a Wilder level puncher enough times eventually you're gonna get knocked out no matter how skilled you are.

 

Wilder is always a dangerous fight. It only takes one punch.
Fury isn't being set up to lose. He ought to win.
