Tyson Fury is getting better and better

Compared to the first time I ever saw him, he has improved quite a lot. He still looks kinda Gumby-ish and off balance at times, but the overall "package" looked okay. I found myself not really watching Fury....but being stunned by how garbage Johnson looked for a "contender".

 

Puzzles me aswell,for a man his size he's plenty quick enough.

The way that he's progressing now I believe he can be maybe the complete package for the heavyweight division because of his talent, he's good looking guy and very colourful personality, I think he can be a tremendous shot in the arm for the heavyweight division in the future."

 

He said that in 2010, when he had first started training Fury. Soon after, Manny stopped training him & left him in the hands of his dad & uncle.

I wonder why .....

 

Well he's improved quite a bit since 2010 so they must have done something right.

 

Pretty sure it was Fury that left Manny,not the otherway round.

Yeah maybe so,he was suffering from depression around that time .. his missus was pregnant and a few weeks later had his boy that was basically on deaths door for a while ... he binge ate and drank and was basically not intrested atall.He was a bit of a mess untill only recently to be fair,he's come on leaps and bounds since taking it serisouly and letting his uncle train him.
Take into account just over a year ago his son was dying,his old man was up on a manslaughter charge,suffering from depression etc ... he's improved a **** load.

 

No doubt! Tyson Fury was obviously clever enough to realize that he was better off in the capable hands of his uncle, than with Emmanual Steward.

Now, to be fair, fury really HAS improved noticeably since 2010, especially his footwork. Also, he seems to have the fighting spirit so I doubt we'll ever see him in a boring fight.

But he's still a big punching bag, waiting for the first good counterpuncher he faces to pummel him into a giant pile of blood, oil & pain. It's only a matter of time.
