As we get closer to the fight I'm starting to lean towards Fury again. Let's see what shape he's in but he looked in fantastic shape when he got the cut. A few more months of training and he could be back to his Wilder 2 condition. If he comes in flabby Usyk will dismantle him. If he's fighting fit then all bets are off. Joshua managed to win 4 or 5 rounds against Usyk in their second fight, you could see Fury edging it on points.
He's still quicker than Fury, especially on his feet. I remid everybody that Fury was in fantastic shape in May 2016 as well. We all know what happened next.
I'm a Fury fan but I find his chances of winning to be unlikely here. I'm actually starting to think there's a good chance he will be stopped.
Same Fury who got outboxed by Ngannou and was dropped twice against him, and his face was a mess after the fight? Is this guy outboxing Usyk? If getting in shape was equal to being good in the ring, eh, Ngannou should have been the best, right ?
