He messed up with the approach to Usyk.

Always swearing at and insulting a guy who's pretty much a noble warrior. Not to mention that he calls Usyk ugly when he's much better looking and has a fitter bird.

It's made him very hard to like.

 

Especially when he says it's not about money and he will fight AJ free for the fans, drives a Passat ect ect

Exactly why he lost fans. The going rate for the fight was already phenomenal money, no need to ask for more.

 

He painted himself as a man of the people who had no interest in money yet has turned into the biggest money grabber going.
Demanding 70/30 from Usyk and then fighting an MMA novice for the Saudi payday.

Then there's his mental health embassador role where he belittles and mocks anyone and everyone.

Everything about him is a sham

 

I'm sorry lads but a boxer literally puts his life at risk every time he steps in the ring for our entertainment. I have fook all issue with boxers trying to maximise their earnings.

300 million in the bank by risking brain damage or worse. I'm strongly of the opinion that boxers actually deserve that amount of money.

 

If you think he's unpopular now just wait until he pulls out of the Usyk fight.

 

John Fury has already been making excuses incase he pulls out or loses the fight

 

Kinda already reached the max or the amount of money you could ever possibly need in a lifetime for the whole family. Why not just fight for the going rate and at 50%? Keep your dignity and popularity

 

They literally don't. They literally put their health at risk for money, fame, achievement. Boxers don't care one bit about John Doe sitting at home.

It’s a complete load of bollocks. He tries to make out he’s a man of the people and money means nothing to him. He’s full of it. I remember watching an interview he did with Paris where he said he doesn’t live a rich lifestyle. Yet if you watch his Netflix show he lives in a mansion, drives around in Ferraris, wears a Rolex and was on about buying his own airport so he could get to places quicker. He loves money. He was whinging the other week how he gets treated better in Saudi and how no one has ever thanked him. You get thanked by getting paid millions of pounds per fight mate.

Back in the day when he was doing a number on Klitschko before the fight and running around dressed as Batman he was funny. Nowadays you can literally predict what he’s going to say before he says it. Dosser, sausage it’s just boring now.

I don’t think he wants the Usyk fight. But he knows he’s going to get ridiculed if he doesn’t.

 

People risk their lives in jobs every day for pittance. Is boxing the only risky job or something? I don’t think a boxers main objective is entertaining the fans. It’s getting paid as much as possible and getting out with as little damage as possible.
