Something snapped in Fury when he beat Wlad. For years he had spoken of nothing else. I loved the Haye build up when Fury kept telling Haye he's going to beat him then beat Wlad, and Haye compared it to him saying he would beat Usain Bolt in the 100 metres.

Unfortunately what snapped is that he decided to hit the booze and coke incredibly hard and mess himself up.

Something else snapped in him when he beat Wilder, and that was to become completely focused on the money. Don't think there's ever been a more money-driven boxer, he's even overtaken Mayweather in that respect. I think it's only the Saudis who can put up enough dosh to ever get him in a ring with Usyk - doubt even a 90-10 split would be enough at Wembley. Greedy belly indeed.

    Since defeating Whyte, Fury has:

    Retired
    Un-retired
    Retired
Un-retired and tried to fight AJ
    Mucked up the AJ negotiations
    Fought Chisora a third time
    Ducked Usyk
    Not signed the Saudi fight
Tried to fight Joshua knowing full well he is close to signing to fight Wilder
Fighting an MMA guy who has never boxed

Tyson Fury folks, the WBC heavyweight champion and the self proclaimed GOAT of boxing.

I wish the mods would stop burying discussion of the fight by putting it in “the Lounge”. Like it or not, it’s a big talking point in the sport due to the knock on effect and precedent it could set. It’s worthy of staying in the main forums.

I do Jim. I think they should be independently moderated. Anonymously. What do you think?

Yeah we should have a weakest mod gets banned each week system. Chatgpt can suggest a scoring system based on how often each mod intervenes. It can deduce the mods personal biases against posters and topics, then it can freeze the mods bank accounts until they go through retraining or something. I’m not totally sure on the details yet but we can work it out as we go.

No idea pal. All I know is if you criticise matchroom you get a ban. They could be doing it out of a love of the game. Whether they get paid or not they’ll publicly say they don’t I imagine.

That thread about little Frank Smith lasted about half hour. Wouldn’t surprise me if Matchroom had people on here. Can think of 2 on the British forum.
