Tyson Fury is losing fans in droves

I REALLLY REALLY can't wait for August 12th and I hope Ronaldo turns up to the Fury vs Ngannou fight & someone like Elon Musk plus Saudi get a famous singer over from America to rub it in even more

 

I doubt anyone cares who does it doesn't turn up they just don't like the heavyweight champion making a mockery of himself and the sport

 

It's likely to be about 18 months between real boxing matches for Fury. Such a shame as the public fell in love with him. The UK is Fury mad. To his credit he did try to make the fights with Joshua, Usyk and even Ruiz, but Joshua didn't want it, Usyk wanted Saudi money, and Ruiz priced himself out. It's a crying shame and all are to blame. Luckily there are no such issues with cricket.

Not hating on Warren as it’s the business decision to make and there would obviously be a rematch clause. However, if this were Hearn the British Forum would descend into meltdown for inserting a rematch clause. I remember when they were hounding Hearn for inserting a rematch clause for Joshua Whyte II negotiations, Whyte Povetkin etc.

He didn’t try to make the Joshua fight. Joshua had no trainer when they offered him the fight for December. It was clearly a PR stunt.

By fighting at the end of October, Fury has effectively ruled himself out fighting Usyk in December / January unless the date is pushed back. It’s smart from Fury as he knows the IBF will enforce Hrgovic as mandatory. Fury is trying to make Usyk face as much wear and tear as possible before deciding to get in the ring with him.

 

You literally just said that Fury didn't try to make the Joshua fight while at the same time saying Fury offered him the fight.

 

You're a weird guy. It's obvious what I meant. He had no serious intention of making a fight with Joshua, which is why he claimed to offer him a fight at Wembley in December 2022 when Joshua had no trainer.

 

There’s a very obvious pattern of Fury’s team offering fights they have no intention of following through on. Last year his intention was to fight Chisora, Joshua was never happening. This year it was always going to be Ngannou, not Usyk or Joshua.

How do you know the forum won't give Warren grief over the rematch clause?

It's not like him and Tyson ain't getting flack currently

Me neither. I’ve never heard of him. Don’t know many people who have.

Wish the division would just carry on without him. Plenty of other fights to make without him holding the division hostage.
