Pretty weak troll thread. You need to up your game. Best in his era maybe but greatest of all time for beating ancient Vlad , Wilder ?

Even beating Usyk doesn't move the dial much. Usyk has 3 fights at heavyweight. Good win but doesn't put Fury anywhere near the top 10.

Dude I do appreciate your honesty, & your courage in being real. :sun_smiley:

However please consider this is not a healthy way to live.
Completely obsessed with one hero figure-best to develop your own independent interests & identity instead of just living vicariously through one man.

This would be true even if it was a Saint.

Will you consider what I am saying?

Some others will think you are goofing & your account is a joke/trolling.
I believe that while you may exaggerate for effect, it is real.
You can do it. By degrees, let go. Develop other interests. Get support here, but then vacate for a while if it feeds your obsessiveness-then return new & improved! :)

Fury is so large that it exaggerates his skills, magnifies them. He is nowhere near someone like Lennox, who himself is nowhere near someone like Ali or Louis. Fury is leagues and leagues away from anyone that was ever NEAR great in the HW division. He would get destroyed by any decent HW champ that ever lived.

Having said that, he's the best HW of his era. He hardly fights & doesn't have a single win over a great fighter (not his fault), but he is the best right now.

I think he has the skills of a great, but definitely not the resume of one.

Well, I must've been in a bad mood that day, I was a bit harsh on Fury, the bigmouthed bastid.

I was wrong about not having a single win over a great fighter, he has the Wlad victory, which isn't saying much with the way he fought. Absolute disgrace of a match it was. Let me guess, you think it's an ATG win, right?

All the HWs prior to the SHW giants of today and the last 30 years or so were CWs

Being the undisputed CW today = being the undisputed HW champ back then but in addition to achieving that Usyk is 3/4 of the way to becoming the undisputed SHW champion and the SHWs of today are almost SSHWs (Super super). Fury, Big Joe Joyce, Mak etc are 6'6''-6'9'' 260-270lb + behemoths

Uysk is the GOAT point blank period

If he beats Usyk and Joshua then it can be said that he's cleaned out the division and the topic is open for discussion.
Until then, it's a reach, although should it happen then there's definitely a conversation to be had.
