Lol you asked why anyone that tall would deadlift why would I pick guys who are 5'3" as an example?

If you want someone who is 5'3" and who's deadlift puts Fury's too shame Richard Hawthorne is 132lbs and deadlifts 280kg.

Yeah he has awful form lol.

Wlad did try clinching a few times but whenever he did Joshua would stick his forearm up to his chest to prevent the clinch and pushed him off. Joshua clearly had prepared to prevent and break the clinch should it occur during the fight.

Oh, I know all about "The Ant".

My point was that the strongest men in the world (as you pointed out) are going to be giants. Always have and always will.

I see people who are 6 inches shorter than Tyson struggle lifting weights due to the range of motion required due to to their long limbs. You have to admit that being tall does make lifting weights harder than it is for the average person.

My incline bench is better than my flat bench simply because of my shoulder position and yes I feel the distance is shorter, same for my decline

Yeah being tall does make it harder to dead lift in comparison to shorter people, but Fury isn't lifting anything remarkable. Also long arms do help with deadlift a lot and Fury as very long arms even for a guy his height.

Fury's biggest problem isn't really his height as other big men have proven to lift more but as you mentioned before his technique is atrocious, he honestly doesn't know how to deadlift properly.

It's the overall time under tension which makes lifting harder for taller men. Tis much longer for them.

Tyson should be in the low to mid 300's, IMHO. But yeah, "snap city" is a real place which he will soon be visiting with form like that!

    Fury is LARGE and smart.
There was Valuev. Dude was 332 lbs 7 ft and this was not butterbean.

I think he was too durable and strong for Fury to beat this gigant in his prime.

Giant was slow and therefore later was even slower and did not managed to land on 217 lbs Haye anything notable. Giant was old but still this confirms that speed does matters a lot.
