This was the plan from the get-go. Joshua-Tyson is a much bigger fight because Tyson retired. He did his homework and knows a big reason that the FOTC was as big as it was because Ali was exiled and other, worthy fighters were allowed to rise in his absence.

I knew he'd come back immediately after Wlad-Joshua, and not a second before. He needed Wlad-Joshua to happen in order to make his fight against them exponentially bigger. Wlad-Joshua wouldn't have meant as much if he'd stayed active defending his title.

If he doesnt have the motivation to get back in training and get back in the ring after the AJ-Wlad mega fight, then he will never have the motivation.

I hope he comes back because if he gets back in shape and is truly committed, he has the style to bring excitement to the division
