Both massive size differences between most of their oppenent s. Both beat long reigning Champs at the back end of their career. And now Fury follows the pattern of Willard, by putting the title in storage!!
You are one of my best friends and a very talented poster but Jess Willard was a fighter. Tyson Fury gets all excited with one win, a one hit wonder, who talks of fighting but will never fight, only in his dreams. He does need a Playtex bra to hold up his buxom.
Thank you Richard. Your a great poster yourself. I was kidding around a little with the thread but I get what your saying. At the moment it seems like Tyson is just marking time and not seemingly wanting to get a fight going. I will say that. By the time he does fight how many defences has he actually made, I don't think more than 2?
Despite this wonderful and objective analysis, Tyson Fury would school Jess Willard with both hands behind his back for half of each round. What a respectfully balanced account. What I liked about it most is that it's not in the least bit hypocritical and discriminatory. Fury didn't deny you entry to that caravan, when you were vigorously knocking on the door, did he?
If Fury ever fights which will be never be. One fight does not spell greatness, it takes many to prove it, no one cares about this soap opera situation, he is not The Gypsy King but The Drama Queen. King's fight and do not make lame excuses, he will soon be forgotten, the next stop for him is the nearest mental ward, he needs help.
Professional sport is a locus for commercial activity. Nothing is transparent in such environments, so to conclude that this all on Fury is quite amusing. You are clearly biased because you can't even give him the respect for being the only current heavyweight boxer to take on top level competition away from home, against all odds and beat them. He even did so as a shell of a man in December 2018. Things could be a lot better, but it is not for the couch fan to propound a solution when they can only act upon conjecture.
Don't get me wrong, I feel Fury is mentally, a bag of nuts. He's got clear problems in getting motivated and in rising to the occasion when an average fighter is involved. He's probably going to end up losing to a bum because he trained on pies and chocolates. THAT SAID: he's clearly miles ahead of Willard insofar as skill and technique is concerned.
You are right, I cannot respect someone who is supposed to defend his title as a champion but makes up millions of excuses not to fights besides, does he pay your rent?, he is just a fighter. If I am a couch fan, so are you, takes one to know one.
Fury is also publicly involved with criminal figures such as Daniel Kinahan. I'm not surprised people dislike him. I myself have massively gone off him in the past year after originally becoming a fan. That said, on his best night he is a tremendous talent.
