Fury has helped pushed the sport to a whole new level of insanity. He's proved you can be a world champion just by calling yourself one in defiance of boxing tradition all while thumping his weak claim to lineal status. Now, he mocks opponents for facing "bums" when he's all to happy to take on E level and D level fighters like Seferi, Schwarz and now Wallin. He's brazenly hypocritical and ultimately its harming the sport. The Schwarz fight was a Box Office bomb and unless Tyson puts on some exciting, competitive fights, the American public he's so keen on selling himself to like a supersized street hooker aren't going to care no matter how much promotional kool aid ESPN, Warren and Arum cook up. The saddest thing is that it doesn't have to be this way, Fury proved in the Wilder fight that he's perfectly capable of rolling with the cream of the crop. Fury is abusing his star power. He's turning people away from our great sport.

 

Grandpa Ortiz is more like 50. If Wilder fights him, they should arrest him for elder abuse!!
