Fury holds the most prestigious title in all of combat sports:

    ''The King of the Gypsies''

So it goes without saying that he's the best

He's already administered an absolutely biblical shellacking to supposed third best HW of this era in their backyard that was so soul-destroying, painful and humiliating it turned them into a recluse and their only public appearance since was a losing but spirited effort at the annual Tuscaloosa Twerking Championships so now it's onto #2 for total supremacy

A shot to sh*t best of last era and a once beaten robotic champ in the following, weakest era.

It’s funny because he continually said that Wilder was the best. Now he’s saying it’s Joshua. Who knows what to believe with him.

AJ and Wilder are the same person to Fury.

Two dossers with a big punch. Nothing more. Wilder is slightly more explosive & rangier that's it.

Wilder isn’t on Joshua’s level on a technicality ability and ring IQ. Not the same. Wilder is also extremely mentally weak for a world champion clearly.

I generally like AJ as he's a good sportsman. Or at least gives a good impression of one. His resume isn't that much better than Fury's. Some take away from Fury's win over Wlad b/c the latter was past his prime. On the other hand Wlad was even older when AJ got off the canvas to beat Wlad, but that's one of AJs top wins. Two of AJs other big name wins were also near 40.

Maybe AJ and Whyte have a side bet to who can beat the most name, close to 40 or older HWs. AJ is one up on Whyte :sisi1

Outside of that what has AJ done lately? Went 1-1 with a Mexican-Am with an eating disorder. Just as a reminder. In their first fight a fat Ruiz stopped AJ. In their second fight AJ carefully out boxed an obese Ruiz. Let's not get carried away with AJs record.

Maybe they all have eaten wild boars testicles hahahaha. Like your idol claimed to. Or maybe you are one of the guys he kissed in the ring.

Maybe AJ should have fought Wallin, Schwarz, Sefari and Pianeta instead. That way you all can say he is the best. Right???

    Other interpretations:
    1. "The best" also includes Wilder. A stance I would agree with. I suspect Fury might actually mean this.
    2. "The best" refers to widely held public opinion, not necessarily his own. Regardless of whether that's what Fury was thinking of, I'm sure Fury himself also puts AJ near the very top of the heap.

    My personal opinion is:
Best of the last era: Wlad
Best of the current era: AJ and Wilder (and Fury himself of course).
