I’d almost say that one is the other way around. Given the way that AJ doesn’t seem to recover well from being hit in the head, Zhang is a horrible matchup for him. AJ is probably the biggest name that Zhang might actually be able to beat.

Did Wilder even hit Zhang? That whole fight seemed like two men deathly afraid of each other, pawing lead hands and doing nothing, until Zhang lands two and it’s over.

I’ve never seen a match like that where both men look THAT worried about the other hitting them even once. It’s like they both spent their camps looking at KO reels of the other and thinking “**** this ain’t gonna be good”

    No chance.

    Fury wouldn't go there.

We know it know, but in the beginning of 2023 AJ haters were calling him a cherry picker for wanting to fight Zhang, who just lost to Hrgović.

Yeah, he landed I think 2-3 straight right hands in the 5th round before being storched himself.

Fury avoids any and all risk. Triangle theory's mean squat, you should know that by now.

First three rounds or so of Audley vs Haye. I am sure Haye threw something, but I don't remember a single punch.

To be fair, Usyk is about the biggest risk you can take.

Fury tried to age Usyk out, avoided him for as long as he could.

Still fought him, and he was still the biggest threat in the division.

Didn't age anything, they were always going to fight in ridyah season which is why they were delayed, could have gone to wembley but why lose out on millions

Fury's mistake before the first Usyk fight was sitting out most of 2023 and then just fighting Ngannou.

Yup and he probably knows it. Stupid but classic Fury. Funny how he hasn't got out of shape since his loss either....he won't leave the sport on that note. Usyk kept his fire burning. I think the cut in his camp and extra time helped also. He probably would have got stopped without it. Looked drained and sloppy to me little extra time not as drained still a touch sloppy.
