FYI your arguments would be taken more seriously if you didn't insult the person youre arguing with.

So what studies have you read or conducted that give you such confidence to go against 99.9% of people who actually study disease and global health for a living say? You say don't blindly trust others for info so I have to ask what do you rely on for this level of confidence? Would you tell your doctor he didn't know what he was talking about if you had a disease that could kill you and your family? I truely hope not.

Also, this is a comically under thought attempt to politicize global health with the broadest brush imaginable. Comparing a highly contagious mutation of a deadly flu that's in one years time wiped out 600k Americans just trying to live their lives to car crashes and cigarettes? Do you really think that's a solid argument? Don't give me this "I doubt the numbers " bull**** unless you can bring something credible to the table. You hearing it on newsmax doesn't count

Why didn't you tell that to the person who left me a comment filled with sarcasm and a condescending tone?

I give back what I receive.

You'd know all this if you bothered to read more than one message in isolation.

Funny, it describes you perfectly too.

I believe you fall into the category of superior arrogance with all the answers attacking someone for doing the same thing...which you can then accuse me of doing and I can then do the same...etc...

I'm not going to spell it out for you, and it has nothing to do with boxing fans.

What the hell are you talking about? He looks as fresh as he could possibly look in that video (of his face).

There is absolutely no proof he contracted covid, just like Povetkin.

Part of the problem is that you disagree in a way that is not logically tenable or conducive to civil debate.
Firstly, there is no reason you should even throw in the possibility that I am "uninterested" as one of the logical possibilities.
I responded to your post civilly & showed much concern for the issue. Bringing up an implausible negative presumption even about the opposition's motivation does not make sense. And hurts mutual respect & understanding.

Next, facts always need qualifiers if you want to understand the true scope, relevance & impact of an issue.
Like in boxing if you only cite virtues or deficits of a fighter, or who they beat *regardless* of context such as how, what stage of their or their opposition's career, other surrounding circumstances...You will often come up with a highly distorted & often factually inaccurate intrerpretation, or highly dubious presumed facts.

More often Covid-19 has been minimized, especially in institutions like nursing homes, whether before we recognized its lethality, or politicians & administrators whating to avoid trouble or worse, such as Governor Cuomo is being investigated here for here in NYC.

You did not address most of the arguments I made.
But even claiming without support that I am "uninformed" as one of two possibilities...Sure, as you could be...But you should have recognized that we both can look at the same set of facts & see things very differently.
We likely know less about the situation in each other's nation-although mine has exponentially more deaths-does not make either of us necessarily uninformed.
Hence it may not be that one of us has to not care or is ignorant.

To two unaddressed points of mine, without strong preventative measures that if put in place or abandoned are proven to produce predictable results of death rates & devastation such as long covid...
The incidence of mortality & disabling health conditions would be *many times* higher.
Even now we see rates going up dramatically here in regions where people are not vaccinated as frequently, let alone considering mask wearing & physical proximity-especially when rising rates are not dealt with.

I hope you are least reconsider your opinion that people who differ with you must not care, or have to be uninformed.
I think there are many things you do not know about or consider in proper context, but to dismiss the opposition with such alienating & irrational presumptions is a form of intolerance.
And not consistent with friendly open minded discussions.

Listen, I come here to talk boxing.

We've already gone off into the weeds and I've no desire to talk about this anymore, because it is a near endless rabbit hole.

I respect your opinion, but I don't agree with you on everything.

I would like to leave it there.

If you want to talk about it there other forums more suited to it.
