I feel Fury likes it though. The thought of him showing up fat and school a champ keeps his ego up.
He rather retire than face Usyk to keep that delusion to himself intact.

Sad truth is that he us relapsing. He already looked coked up. Now he is drinkngbsnd getting fatter again.
At this rate he will end up where he was post klitschko again.

Fury doesn’t have to cut 50 pounds to make weight, it’s that rapid drain that ages a fighter. Fury is built like that, the only problem is if he’s training or not. People say he’s training so there’s absolutely no problem with how he looks. If AJ stops training you would see it on his body, Tyson will look the same either way. People are built differently.

99% of your favourite boxers loved to drink (and often to excess). Maybe it helps you to have an irrational fear of alcohol, but it’s not that big of a deal in small quantities.

It really isn't. Some embarrassing posts in this thread letting their personal dislike for someone cloud their judgment. Not good, not good at all.

As already mentioned in this thread, he's been training every day going by his insta and he always has a pint or two to unwind even when he's in Camp.

He’s in shape. You can tell by how lean his face is. The guy just has terrible genetics when it comes to body composition. He also has unusually narrow shoulders and wide hips for a man which makes him look even more non-athletic.

    Narrow Shoulders?

Fury has the Torso of a caveman, his love handles make it look less broad but he can outwrestle a gorilla.

Most recent photo of him with members of the staff at Babucho. He actually looks fairly decent.

It's not like he has to boil down to make weight. Weight fluctuation at heavyweight is less damaging to the body for that reason. Thay could all look like him, ruiz or Miller as long as they're fit to fight 12 rounds. Plus, he may genuinely be going into retirement yet. I personally think he'll fight the that one last huge fight but the way the fella changes his mind mid interview frequently, he probably does spend 50% of his days convinced that he's hung them up

Mate you lost me at "Khan later in his career" I believe there has been a certain percentage of the boxing community I.e. 100% that have labelled him chinny and for good reason since he got put over by that monster puncher Willie limond.

I'd be happy if they gave him the vital treatment and gave him champion emeritus status while he's deciding on his future.

Great shout on povetkin, he really doesn't get given the credit and attention he deserves. By far and away the best technical boxer in the division before age caught up with him and size hindered him against the likes of wlad. The only asterix is the failed drug tests.

I didn't see that thread. Have either of you ever been to war? It affects people. In many different ways and to differing degrees. Some are able to just crack o. With life when they get home and I think usyk has that sort of mentality. It certainly can never be labelled as a bs excuse if it does hinder him on any way. What a stupid thing to say
