If Fury is the most talented heavyweight ever, why by Fury's own admission, did he get beat up in sparring by Joshua back in September 2010. Joshua had been boxing for only 3 years at the time. Whilst Fury had been surrounded by boxing all of his life, had completed his amateur career and had been a pro for a year and a half. It should have been a complete mismatch. Not only is Joshua the far more fundamentally sound boxer, but he is clearly far more talented. It is not even remotely close.

He's a good boxer but he isn't the second coming or anything. What if Douglas had never fought again after beating Tyson would he have been the greatest.

The truth is it's hard to say how good as he's only ever fought one decent boxer and won an utter snoozefest

But Price has medicore or less boxing skills and is moving like a tower. Price is all about height/size/reach and power.

Fury is height/size/reach, power, movement and he is technically very good. But i do not see him being more gifted talentwise than other champs. And i really like Fury and his style. But he is not a bigger talent than AJ for example.

I think Povetkin is a bad comparison because Fury is much better overall than Povetkin. But Povetkin struggled vs Hammer? I think this was a pretty clear and comfortable win for Povetkin although he did not get the stoppage like Fury. He won all rounds and without any problem. Fury is 20cm bigger than Hammer and of course he has some major advantage there compared to Povetkin who is the same seize than Hammer.

It did have a bit to do with Wlad's performance tbf, he just didn't show up, completely out of his comfort zone for some reason. Be good if Fury comeback and resembles the fighter shape wise and mentally fit like the one Wlad encountered, he would do a number on Joshua and Wilder imo

Fury v Wlad was a career best for Tyson by a mile.In shape, sharp,he knew what he had to do.Probably got into Wlads head somehow.
You can't take that away from him.
Is he a fighter that needs to be up against it to give his best ? . It looked like it that night..
    Then you have Cunningham.Who knows.

Wrong yet again! I never picked Fury to get knocked out by Wlad! The fact that you along with a few delusional fans, keep praising this guy like he was some kind of unstoppable terror is beyond laughable. Does he have talent, yes! Is he a was of talent, yes! His best win was against a 40 year old, past prime champ. He hasn't fought in over 2 years. These 2 years aren't just years he can get back, these are his prime years. These are the years that put a fighter in the history books, these are the years legends are made of. And he's wasted them. I laugh at fans like you hanging on every tweet he posts and shortly after, come on here talking about how Fury is gonna come back and take over the heavy weight division. LOL Let's not forget he got floored by a blown up cruiser weight in Cunningham! I will be the first to sing his praises if he were to come back and beat the likes of Joshua or Wilder. I'm afraid he picked a hard road to plow to be honest. Inactivity, extreme weight gain, alcohol abuse, drug abuse and mental issues. It would be an incredible accomplishment if he did something like regain a major belt and your praise of him would prove to be rightfully placed, but at this time, I just don't see it.

If he’s got so much natural god given talent then why did he take PEDs? And why has he only got one good win on his resume?

Hw division needs Fury. We all saw the Wlad fight and Fury dominated. If Fury can do that to AJ it will mean Joshua has to work on his boxing
