So when AJ won a "boring" fight against Parker, he lost some credibility... But when Fury wins with total of 100 punches for the whole fight, he is the most talanted!? There even was a thread here on the forum about AJ - Parker the most boring HW title fight ever lol.

Fury landed only 86 of 371 punches for a connect percentage of 23%, according to CompuBox. Klitschko was just as awful in connecting on only 52 of 231 punches for a connect percentage of 23 percent. In Wladimir’s prime of his career, he was capable of landing over 50 punches per round.

50 Power shots per round likely came against plodders who were walking head first into his blast zone round after round.

Against movers , David Haye for example , he had to throw 509 punches to land 134 at a mediocre 26% connect rate.

Power punches against David Haye totaled 29/133 over 12 rounds....... David Haye totaled 36/119 power shots on Wlad.....
Wlad totaled 18/69 power shots against Fury.

This shows Haye landed more power punches on Wlad than Wlad landed on Fury.

It also shows Fury beat Wlad just like Wlad beat David Haye.

At least Fury nullified another SHW far better than David Haye.. Wlad nullified a basic cruiser weight who wasn't effective on the front foot.

I remember all Wlads fanboys were calling that performance a masterclass and praising him to the high heavens , while tearing apart Haye for not engaging enough..
Was Haye past prime in that fight too? lol

Against Sultan Ibragimov he laded 40 power punches over 12 rounds. Why? Because Iggy was moving around the ring.. Was Wlad not in his absolute prime for that fight?

Look at the stats two years later when he fought Joshua.

Total punches against Joshua - 94
    against Fury - 52

Power punches against Joshua - 44
    against Fury - 18

Now factor in that that Wlad landed far more on Joshua over 10 rounds than on Fury over 12 rounds. This is because Joshua wasn't elusive and hard to hit target like Fury was. Wlad clearly had the ability but the problem was was Fury who neutralized his offence. .

Actually I forgot to quote the source, it's one of the writers on boxingnews that wrote those lines not me. My bad. I only needed the punching stats, cause I was thinking that probably Fury didn't even land 100.

And some words that are mine: In my opinion Fury played brilliant the mind game and ****ed up Klitschko mentally. He never pulled off the trigger in that fight. And no Fury is not the most talented ever. He WAS a good boxer and I doubt it he would come back. I was really disappointed after the Klitschko fight. My point was this :

So when AJ won a "boring" fight against Parker, he lost some credibility... But when Fury wins with total of 100 punches for the whole fight, he is the most talanted!? There even was a thread here on the forum about AJ - Parker the most boring HW title fight ever lol.

In my opinion you can't blame Joshua for not scoring a KO. He used his jab very good and tried to control the distance. Time flies and with each day I am getting more and more sure that Fury would be brutally KO'ed if he comes back... by AJ or Wilder.
