No. We don't want these guys to end up seriously damaged for the rest of their lives. Good call.

Your man didnt look hurt to me but he was taking alot of punishment. I was actually impressed with Fury tonight despite the fact that he was rocked. Was working he jab very well and put his combinations together well. Him and Price will be a good fight.

    Agreed.
He had his hands up, was responding with punches and his eyes were all there - British boxing is the worst for these stoppages imo..The fight wasn't over.

Firtha looked like a sitting duck from the moment the first bell went.....no defence or head movement.......just.......let me walk onto Fury's jab!

But Fury STILL allowed a sitting duck to badly rock him!

It would have been difficult to look bad against last night's Firtha......and Fury did look very bad in round 3!
Will the K brothers, Helenius, Povokekin, or even fellow novice Price be concerned by last night's Fury........I doubt it!;)

Joke stoppage as usual. The UK is easily the worst for premature stoppages.

I still think its a hangover from the Eubank & Benn vs Watson & McClellan fights, referees are allowed to jump in early, & commentators & fans alike are instantly angry, then the guilt trip hits home about those two occasions & we all just say "well if the fight went on, the loser could maybe have been injured, better safe than sorry"

    & its forgotten about.

Not saying its right or wrong, its just that on these shores the scars run deep from those fights, & as a result you get dodgy stoppages & not too much griping about them from the mainstream media.

    Just my opinion.

Don't think this fight will happen as pricey would win with ease I'm not a fury hater I think he is a good prospect but has plenty of things to work on before he could hold his own with a well schooled boxer like pricey . Pricey will dispose of big John then fury will vacate titles to pursue world honors , to keep his 0 .

early because firtha could still through a punch to hurt fury again, he was getting bombed all night but the pikeys put a bet on 5thround stoppage

A touch early from be because the guy is an experienced pro who showed he could hurt Fury and was coming to fight. In that round Fury was starting to get to him with heavy shots that saw no return. I would let it go on longer but it wasn't terrible.
