Tyson Fury has pulled out of July 9 rematch with Wladimir Klitschko, a source involved in the fight told ESPN. Per source, Fury claims injury but, according to the source, he has been partying. Fight could be rescheduled in October.

    :rofl:lol: Partying!? and October! pfft....

Poor AJ and Hearn, booked 25th June just because Fury was supposed to fight Wlad on July 9th.

No!! Well at least I still get another chance to see the fight on a different date because the rematch was scheduled on the same night as UFC 200.

This rematch won't even happen I think, they're saying maybe October, Wlad will almost be 41 by then.

Lol you actually believe his BS? He was partying as the source said and must've been well out of shape, so of course he's gonna make that excuse.

He was out partying and overweight, no wonder he sprained his ankle :patsch He would've lost the rematch on July 9 no doubt.

Certainly a "fortunate" injury whether legitimate or not because Fury was a bit behind on his conditioning. Plus an ankle injury would pose a problem for his tactics of running around the ring, posturing, and clowning.

And it might cause some consternation for Wlad's highly organized regimen and let's face it, at Wlad's advanced age he'll be a few months older when he enters the ring.
