Personally, for me, there's a big difference in the fact that Wladimir was schooled by Fury and didn't really merit a rematch.

At the end of the day, legacies won't be made by counting cancelled fights and pull-outs. It's the fights that happen that matter.
Fury, despite all his flaws etc., still has the best win in the division. It shows how bad the rest of them are.

 

If Wilder did what Fury did he would not get criticized at all........................Fury will knock Wilder out, but Wilder will never fight him...................Wilder is only interested in fighting winos from the alley!

 

Although he would like to cash out and join Charlie Martin on skid row/county jail.

 

He also has the legacy of being a champion who never defended his title once. Great champions don't just win titles and one win doesn't make a great fighter.

Not at all. Not as a championship fight.
Fury fought Wlad when Wlad was champion of the world.
AJ fought Wlad when Wlad was an ex-champion coming off a loss and a 17 month lay-off. Joshua held a paper title.

A maverick. Fury borders on that fine line between genius or clown! I can't work out whether he's special or 'special'.. One of those captivating sports personalities (Hamed, Eubank, Hatton) who just bring that something else. He proved me wrong but i have reservation's about his jumping back into boxing after turning into a Teletubbie & being so up & down himself on his own comeback & the sport. The soap opera he brings is funny & he has ability no doubt. I have sex with chickens.
