Clinching is an artform and a part of pro boxing always has been. Fury would be commended in the early years of boxing for his clinchcraft.

This isnt an amatuer fight and even they have clinching

I don't think I've been as pumped for a fight in years.. recent ones like Kovalev Ward, Wlad Haye, GGG Canelo, Loma Rigo etc all in their own way stood out & intrigued me but this ones generational...

Fury has never clinched to the extent that Ali and Klitschko did.. I mean both of those guys hold the record.. Wlad about 140 times & Ali about 130 in the Frazier & Povetkin fights.. I guarantee you u can't find a single fight where Fury clinches even close to that number.. not one! Yes he clinches but so do many heavyweights, look at Lennox Lewis v Tua.. get over it it's part of the game , Usyk knows this he should therefore put a plan in place to negate it shouldn't he

The early daaaze of boxing had different rule enforcement: & even some different rules!
A limited amount of clinching, in certain circumstances, is defensible.

But the actual laws of boxing do not permit the degree of hugging & pulling down, esepcially by the head & neck, that I alluded to.

Sure it has always been around.
    So have low blows.
    Headbutts.
    Eye gouging.
    Occasional biting.

If only one guy does any of these things-or most of them-there is no way to tell if he won *because* of such flagrant, dishonorable, boxing-negating CHEATING.

    But CONFESS:
Since you psychologically over-identify with Fury to an unhealthy degree...
There is almost no likely reason you would oppose or critique your hero.

Maybe if he BBQed live children in the ring...
Then there is a chance your comically biased mindframe could change.

    Nope nothing to get over!
I did not say he did it as much as those guys.
I don't care if it is Lewis or anyone: just like Holyfield got away with too much against Tyson.

Of course he should & will have a plan to deal with clinching.
But a huge, top HW determined to spoil can end up being the completely unworthy winner.
Or at least we would not know who might have won.

We always should make sure we have referees who are on the ball & do not allow victors based on what should be illegal conduct: even when it is a matter of degree.

Without this, Ali-Frazier 3 in Manilla would have been a likely snoozefest.
And not earned a likely victory.
Thank God Ali got strongly warned, twice, early.

It's cute when Fury fans believe he can hurt Usyk, who has an iron chin and was never even knocked down once in his professional career, never mind stopped. He fought 24 rounds against the second-hardest punching HW without being hurt even once. In the 10th round of the second Joshua fight, he ate a huge right hand that normally puts people to sleep. He didn't even slow down.

All this talk about Fury stopping him - lol. Wilder was a walking punch bag for seven rounds straight, and Fury still struggled to put him away until very late in the 11th - by the time he was barely standing on his feet himself from exhaustion. He punched Wilder all night at will, and still, the fight almost went the distance. Fury hit Wilder with 150 power punches that fight until Wilder finally went down. What does that tell you about Fury's punching power?

The truth is, Fury is pillow fisted for his size and weight. He always was, and always will be. P4P, even Usyk is a harder puncher. What, Fury suddenly is a KO artist because he could uppercut and uppercut-magnet plodder Whyte and TKOd an almost 40-year-old plodder Chisora? Usyk is not a plodder. He is not an uppercut magnet. He is not a walking punchbag.

If the fight ever happens, it will be hilarious to see the reaction of the Fury fans after Usyk schools him. You guys still don't seem to realise that Usyk is all wrong for Fury, he is a matchup nightmare for him due to their respective styles. Usyk feasts on bigger guys - the bigger they are, the better Usyk fares against them and he is coming for Fury.

    :D

The behaviour of Fury fans is so predictable - when he doesn't sign a contract, you keep quiet. When he sends a contract: SiGn tHe cOnTrAcT GaPpY TeEtH!!11!!

Where were you since the 4th of November when Team Usyk already sent a contract to the ogre who never signed it?

It is fans like you who will make it so satisfying when Usyk will make Fury look like Bambi on ice and thrashes him 117-111 - if Fury doesn't retire and un-retire another seven times instead or fights against the mighty David Price, that is.

I dunno who's gonna win the fight. I've already said I think it's gonna be a difficult night and well earned win for either guy.

But I gotta say, I think Usyk has been winning the mind games part so far. Usyk's call out was a simple "Belly, where are you?" Meanwhile, Fury puts out this where he keeps repeating rabbit over and over again. I'm not saying he actually is, but the repetition makes it seem like he's a bit nervous to me. "Rabbit! I'm coming for you, rabbit! You can't hit, rabbit!"

But whatever, that ain't really important. Let's get the fight on so we can finally settle who the best man is!

Fury uploaded this video not even 24 hours ago. What was Usyk supposed to do? Upload a video saying "Hello, Belly, I'm coming for you"? He is not addicted to social media like Fury. The amount of callouts and messages he already sent to Fury is much more than he ever did with any other opponent anyway. He is busy in the gym, sparring 15 rounds with 30 seconds between rounds against 4-5 different guys (so the opponent is always fresh) while Fury is looking like he spent every minute since his Chisora sparring session lying on a sunbed in Miami. He looks like a boiled lobster.

Even though it's sort of a funny running joke they've got going, Fury should stop calling him a middleweight since it has no intimidation effect on Usyk and will only be used to discredit Fury if he wins. He also isn't anywhere near that size anyway. Kovalev mentioned how big Usyk was after sparring him and Kovalev is a LHW.

OK no harm in saying outrageous, good natured things.
But donchya think it is silly to call a large man, only "small" compared to modern HW standards, a MW?
Especially since Usyk seems to have as much muscle per square inch as your man, maybe more?

And why do you seem proud about Fury's laziness?
Do you believe the boar meat story, & would you even CARE if he is a PED cheat?

O you have any prospect for objectivity in anything related to those you worship...Like a child?
