    Nail on head.

I know people who only will watch a fight if they're undefeated.

After Hatton lost to Mayweather, everyone I knew (non-boxing fans) all said he was crap as is no longer undefeated like Calzaghe

well he doesnt... Price would go on the CH5 show and probably knock fury out, that would seriously dent Fury's CH5 deal

 So Price beats Sexton and now he is the best thing since slice bread come on.. If you can come on here and say Fury is **** you need your head testing he would beat most heavyweights out there..

nobody even comes close to froch at the moment in that respect.

i admire that man so much for his attitude towards wanting to only fight the best.

Clearly Hayemaker has fought the better run of opponents though in fairness.

    David Haye vs

Mormeck. The man at CW. 2 World titles on the line.

Enzo Maccarinelli. Unification fight. Haye became the man with 3 World titles on the line.

Monte Barrett. Highly thought of former World title challenger.

Nikolay Valuev. World HW champ and the tallest and greatest weight ever seen from all the divisions combined. Giant. Can't be knocked down.

John Ruiz. Former World champ. World title fight. beat Holyfield easily quite often.

Audley Harrsion/ European champ. Former Olympic gold medal hero. World title fight.

Klitschko. Unification World title fight. At least 4 belts on the line.

Chisora. Unlucky to lose last World title fight. Beat top 4 Helenius.

When we factor in as well that Froch is only about an inch shorter than Hayemaker it becomes even more obvious. Haye could easily cut weight like Froch too if he wanted but that's not how David rolls, David is after the big prize and has his eye on the ball.

    the guy is deluded.

He has also said that he is currently the best British Heavyweight and doesn't need to fight either Haye or Chisora because he is fighteing the best opposition of all British HW's....

im a fan of haye but i disagree with you here.

Jean Pascal. an undefeated world contender who then steps up in weight to become light heavyweight champ.

Jermaine Taylor. Former middleweight king whose only 2 defeats came at the hands of a prime kelly pavlik.

Andre Dirrell. unbeaten prospect who became the first person to defeat the previously unbeaten arthur abraham.

Mikkel Kessler. losing a very close decision to a former world champion whose only 2 defeats came at the hands of the 2 of the best boxers the super middleweight division has seen in recent years.

Arthur Abraham. completely dominating former middleweight king in a fight many tipped him to lose.

Glenn Johnson. former light heavyweight ruler, who was in rejuvenated form since returning to super middleweight.

Andre Ward. arguably the best super middleweight about at the moment.

Lucien Bute. IBF champ, undefeated. tipped to beat froch quite convincingly.

    more impressive in my opinion.

Froch has easily fought better opposition than Haye. To claim otherwise is ridiculous.

    Haye

Mormeck - the man at the weight, slightly past his best, done nothing since
Enzo - WBO champion with some good wins, KTFO three times since
Barrett - solid gatekeeper/journeyman, decent win
Valuev - a big lump, past his best, lost to Holyfield
Ruiz - a double hard *******, faded, Haye did a job in fairness
    Harrison - a bum
Klitschko - world champion & P4P'er, Haye didn't really give it his best

    Froch

Pascal - unproven, went onto good things later
Taylor - stamina issues, KTFO afterwards, nothing of note since
Dirrell - awkward spoiler, beat AA later, nothing since (out of choice)
Kessler - top opponent, beat Froch in a great fight, nothing since
Abraham - picked to lay Froch out, was dominated 12-0. Nothing since.
Johnson - styles matchup was favourable for Johnson, Froch did a decent job on him
Ward - P4P'er, Froch wouldn't beat him in a million years, waiting for him to fight again
Bute - picked to dominate and stop Froch by many. Wasted inside five rounds. Wait and see what he does

    Don't feed the troll man.

Anyone with 1 working brain cell knows Frochs CV is far more impressive than Hayes

Strange rebuttal that. You've basically agreed Hayemaker's cv is at least as good as Froch's. :huh

Not really, I've tried to give an honest appraisal as my dislike for Haye often clouds my judgement.

None of Froch's opponents are bums, unlike Harrison.... and many of them are in a stage of their career where they can accomplish plenty and make the result have a greater standing.

Most of Haye's better opponents haven't done anything of note since - Enzo, Barrett, Valuev and Ruiz have all either retired or gone backwards since Haye beat them, whilst Harrison is just a clown.

Pascal meanwhile has won and lost the WBC 175lb title defeating the hyped Dawson.... Dirrell beat Abraham and might yet do something, whilst Ward is in most people's P4P lists.

agreed brother... why wouldn't you fight a young hungry prospect ? this is where boxing and ufc (dare i say it) are completely different. It saddens me to read articles like this being involved in boxing from a very young age.

Anyone dumb enough to even try to pick apart Froch's cv are not boxing fans.

He is doing what fans want to see!
