He did exactly what he said he'd do before the Wilder fight. Probably will do just what he's saying now.

The safest strategy would be to do a Ruiz to AJ...not Andy, John. If Fury implemented the John Ruiz/ Wlad Klitschko game plan of jab and grab, AJ will be helpless and gassed by the 5th. AJ doesn't have the stamina to have a 280lb Fury hanging on him all night.

Boxing from range is another option that is fairly safe for Fury. He's the more fluid mover and the bigger man with better reach.

Going to war is also winnable for Fury, but it also gives AJ his best chance.

I'd say mix it up. Start out from range, move into some ugly spoiling, then when AJ is worn down move in for a KO.

    1) Which fool would reveal his REAL fight strategy before facing one of the most dangerous boxers of today?

    2) Besides...Joshua Is not Wilder. Hes not easy to hit and punch. Fury hasnt Ruiz' fast hands. Could Fury surprise Joshua with a stunning left hook as Ruiz before Joshuas second KD? Strongly doubtful.

Eh Fury at 270+ has slow handspeed and his footspeed at that weight isn't all that either. I think people forget that Joshua is strong as hell and not a toothpick unlike Wilder. He overpowered Breazeale. He wont overpower Fury but he could hold his own in the clinches.

I feel like Aj could nip Fury in the clinches with uppercuts if he tried that. If i remember correctly wilder was able to throw a few uppercuts in the clinches although they missed. Furys best chance is to just go down to less than 250lb and box and move

Fury has no choice but to fight like this. He knew that a potential robbery (again) was coming on the cards in the Wilder rematch, and he knows the same in the Joshua fight. It will be very hard to get the W on the cards, he should go for the stoppage.

I hope thats the case. I've always thought that Fury is playing 4D chess but im just concerned because for the past few years fury's family have told him Aj is an easy nights work, Aj is tailor made for him. Etc and now that Furys trainer even claims Furys going for the knockout.

Fury has a history of getting overconfident and now that AJ's chin has been exposed who knows, Fury might try and go for the knockout.

Seems that all the fighters (except Ruiz) who went furious for the KO with Joshua were badly defeated. Parker who didnt go for a fast KO almost took a draw with Joshua.

Doubted him when he said he'd do it v Wilder and was wrong, so I will not make the same mistake here.

I don't think strategy keeps working. I think Joshua is more versatile than Wilder defensively. Not as much explosive power and maybe less speed, but a little more physical and defensive and skilled. Fury should not take him for granted.

Someone should put some quiet money on AJ

His odds go up if Fury stands and trades

Not all...Dylan Whyte trade hard & fast from the bell, nearly had Joshua going but got careless, well TBH Whyte was not at that level back then...but gave a good account of himself as a fight anyone type of guy!
