Could have said it 6 months ago, really. Oh well........ I'm really looking forward to the likes of Ortiz, Parker, Joshua, Wilder, and Klitschko not fighting eachother now we got vacant paper titles up for grabs. Yayyyy!

I don't want him to retire, I want him in the ri b get with ANY of the top 5 hw's right now. He would be pummeled badly.

Beating that Wlad got him way too much hype, and he BARELY won.. can't even claim he "beat" him..

That fight was pathetically even, either could had got the decision because they both did nothing to separate them.

So many HW would had whooped up on Wladimir AND fury from that nigot. Right now, idc about accomplishments, they mean nothing once accomplished.

They're in the PAST, h2h I don't know Wladimir nor fury have the ability to win any fights against my top 5, maybe more because Parker has climbed my ladder. Not sure he's legit but he has the look, (talent and skilled) time will tell

Fury must feel like a total joke: he was retired by a 40 year old scared-looking old ATG who he already beat. Fury's basically too dumb and lazy to face Wlad a second time around, even when paid a career high $10 million. What a complete train-wreck.

Wlad and Fury both are losers in this fiasco. And of course the entire HW boxing scene lost one entire year in this mess.

So is this disgraceful clown vacating his belts officially? So we can finally move on from this joke he's playing on us?

Well, the good thing about this is that by "retiring" he vacates the lineal title and that opens it up for more active, well-adjusted fighters to contend for it.

I still don't think this will get him out of the doping charges against him though.

One thing is for sure. You can't take a blind bit of notice to what Fury says. For a while I thought he really was playing mind games. That all the crap he came out with was calculated and he knew what he was doing.

This last few months have shown he hasn't got a clue himself. He talks so much nonsense, it's impossible to tell when he's telling the truth.

Something else he has in common with Tony Montana - "I always tell the truth, even when I lie". Albeit for different reasons.

This "retirement", isn't worth the data it takes up on the Twitter servers.

I sure do hope the WBA and WBO strip him and take his antics at face value. He said he retired. He also did the photoshop pic with the Montana thing and the pile of cocaine. This man is a complete disgrace and ought to be banned from the sport as per his doping on deca. So what will likely happen then is he is forced into retirement anyway (he's probably done this knowing that was going to be hitting him soon with his hearing next month) so he'll have to serve a ban and then after he watches his bank balance take a huge hit in his 'retirement' after he serves his ban he will try and talk the public into believing 'the greatest' is coming back. But he will be a fat bloater and his skills will have drastically eroded. Then after a couple of low level fights and struggling he'll show the public all he is, is a fat talker and will be KO'd by someone as he tries to go up the rankings. Ali could make a comeback after 3 yrs Fury won't have a chance.

I want him to vacate or be stripped immediately so the belts in the heavyweight division can move forward. Fury is just holding things up.

I can't recall any HW boxer in recent memory who did greater damage to the division than Tyson Fury.
