Science has proven the existence of the lineal belt. It is 99.8% air.

A certain lineal champion wanted 10 grand to turn up to an amateur gym for half hour
Then refused photos with fans else where and carried on training
    People's champ though
    Gtfoh
First you all admired his honesty lol
    Then his loyalty lol
Then his for the people moniker
Then he's just a guy making as much bread as he can
Which aj and Whyte are ripped to shreds for
Never knew how many grown men was in to the wwe
It's real to me Damn it lol

How the hell can you have Hrgovic as high as number 5?? He hasn't beat anybody.

Currently I'd have the top as:

    1.Wilder
    2.Ruiz
    3.Fury
    4.Joshua

Fury Ring no.1 and Brezeale and Ortiz both top 10 (at the time - say what we want about Brezeale), so that's three top 10 fights and no losses from Dec 2018 for Wilder. If Ruiz beats AJ again it puts him on two wins against a top 10 and a win against Dimit ranked 53 at the time. Wilder just shading it for me, but Wilder / Ruiz sharing no.1 spot would be fair enough should Ruiz repeat.

    Won't fight any legit fighters?

Yet fought and beat WK in his back yard who hadn't lost in a decade and also fought Wilder in his backyard after being on the **** for 2-3 years.

Don't think you can string the line that Fury hasn't got the nuts to jump in with the top guys, fact is he has done so and will be doing so again in February.

Two top guys out of how many? Look at his record. What has he done inbetween?

Tyson hasn't faced a legit contender in years, plural.

If I was either fighter I'd have been happy with a draw. Fury won most of the rounds but on the canvas twice and outrageously so in the last. As much as Wilder's power is freakish, so is Fury's constitution. Massive credit to both in that fight.

This is all logical stuff mate. The disrespect on here shown to fighters is ridiculous and I'm not just talking about Tyson Fury. Any boxer who has fought at the top level and had success deserves a certain level of respect.

Fury hasnt beaten anyone in the the top 40 since in 4 year since he came back from retirement so its mind boggling how is number 1 with ring magazine. If Lennox Lewis was to come out retirement and beat the likes Schwarz, Wallin and Painetta would he be made the number 1 based that and his results years ago prior to his retirement?

Ruiz, AJ, whyte, Parker and Povetkin currently have the best active resumes in the world and should be ranked so accordingly.

It's not that mind boggling. 90% of boxing fans had Fury beating Wilder and ring magazine obviously saw it the same way. Hence his no.1 spot.

Even then it's odd as the former Ring magazine & boxrec number 1 with majority of the belts and by far the best resume was AJ untill he lost to Ruiz. So going on that method Ruiz should be number 1?

Ruiz beat Joshua in a boxing match. He didn't absorb his soul and automatically gain credit for everything AJ had done himself previously.

Ruiz otherwise has a thin resume and a loss to another guy in the top 10. It's understandable (but debatable) that he hasn't been ranked no.1.

There isn't a single "method" to the Ring or any other rating system. It's a mix of objective and subjective, results and performance. As long as it fits within the criteria, and follows some kind of logic, it's a credible rating system.

    Fury a 3rd world heavyweight...
Hearn should lure him to the UK.

Fury held champion status after Vlad but they demoted him due to his inactivity etc. Joshua then held the no.1 position ahead of Fury in 2, but Fury has since climbed back to no.1 after Joshua's defeat. Very questionable as to why Wilder isn't ranked at 1 now though.
