Fury is in a much better position than price, he has an eliminator with either arreola/stiverne in the new year and then vitali if he's still fighting then?

Any word on haye vs vitali or is that completely down the pan now? We could see haye vs fury late 2013???

Price fans get all uppity. 'No one likes Price'.

Yet they slag off Fury and say he's scared.

After watching Price's masterclass against Skelton is it any wonder?

Where's this idea of 'Price fans' as some sort of collective group come from? :huh I've seen some very good, realistic posts from some of these 'Price fans' on him and some pretty ridiculous ones from Fury fans about him.

Yet it comes across like Price fans are the only ones who are ignorant and biased. Not the case at all from what I've seen, each set can be as bad as each other.

    Earl Hickey - :patsch

David Price is looking like the more complete fighter IMO, Fury impressed with his movement and punch selection v Safety pin, but his punches soon lacked pop after the 3rd/4th round.

I've noticed Fury starts to throw wide slapping punches when his stamina drops, no Price opponent has gotten far enough into the fight to compare Prices stamina.

Well if you think Price is the more complete fighter that's your opinion. I don't agree though, I haven't seen nearly as much versatility from Price as I have from Fury.

The fact that Fury can fight inside, and outside is a massive advantage for Fury, as it means he can cope in a lot more situations, against a greater variety of styles.

The only person he fought on the inside was a massively unfit Chisora and Fury just held and looked uncomfortable.

The face palm was because you said you'd put Fury in with anyone and would give him a good chance of winning. :patsch WLADIMIR!!!! :!:

I've noticed you constantly slag off Price but it never seems to be constructive or thought out.

Fury would do himself a lot of favours if he deleted his twitter account and stopped going on about Price in every interview. Some have said they dont think he's being serious on twitter, but I do. He comes across as a tit. If he is only messing around and winding people up then he's fooled nearly everyone. That interview on channel 5, the "and also" with that cap and finger point was embarrasing.

I've been over it a ****ing thousand times

David Price has got no inside game. All you have to do is look at the ease with which Matt Skeleton casually strolled past his jab, straight forward and pinned Price down. No lateral movement, nothing, backwards in straight lines. When Skeleton got in close, he was throwing and LANDING. The Big right hand failed a few times, and that was it, Skeleton was in there. Nothing inside from Price, poor clinching, not able to fight out of it.

You can say Wlad has no inside game, but the difference is Wlad doesnt let opponents just walk past his jab and start tagging him, he uses movement, he clinches very effectivley inside, Matt Skelton wouldn't get NEAR Wlad.

Granted, he took a 45 year old man out to the body, great.. i guess.

Also Price does not cope with pressure, it happened in the amateurs, it almost happened against Skelton, he panics, his game starts to fall apart, he gets hit and he gets stopped.

The best opponents Price has faced by FAR were in the amateurs, and he didn't do all that well against his peers there, being beaten by Helenius, Pulev Stiverne, Cammarale and others.

He has faced nobody NEAR that level in the pros, not NEAR.

And yet, he appears to have the same frailties he did then. Simply, in his jump to the pros, hes stepped DOWN in class and looked good, but he hasn't seemed to fix up the same frailties, so that when he steps UP he will not have the same problems.

I'm sick and tired of being called on this, i'm not convinced on Price, because he hasn't SHOWN me anything to convince me, and until he does, I cannot ASSUME he is going to magically fix those PROVEN frailties.

    Do you get me?

I'm not buying into the hype from knocking out lesser opponents, when his best ones, in the am's beat him, and even a 45 year old matt skelton made him look very shaky at times.

    *P.S

I'd gove Fury a good chance of beating anyone except Wlad, my bad. Also think Pulev beats him, but he's got a good chance against pretty much anyone else whos currently active

Fury never shuts up about Price, he is obviously bothered or even threatened by Price. The fight wont happen anytime soon maybe after Fury gets a shot at Wlad and loses it will happen.

If you compare them based on common opponents.... E.g John McDermott, who looked better?

Do you base your assessment on chins? who has looked more likely to be ko'd?

Do you base your assessment on KO win %?

Fury has slightly better movement, Pricey looks more Robotic (Klitschko-esque)

Fury's combinations look a little flashier but he clearly doesn't have the same 1 punch power as Price.

Would be an exciting fight whilst it lasted, don't understand why people feel the need to get on 1 of there d**ks and slate the other.

    See, nothing.

You ask for a breakdown of why i'm not sold on Price, I spend 10 minutes typing it out and you just gloss over it and change the subject to Fury.

We are talking about Prices flaws there.

Fury has his flaws too for sure, i'm not saying he's perfect by any means.

Look, it's a waste of time going through this, All the liverpool crowd are not going to bend on their views on Price, for obvious reasons.
